Thank you, good luck making it too. My sister has a 64-bit laptop and I won't be able to always to use it as she brings it outside with her...

Awesome tool, but I am getting some strange results.

Here is an example of one extracted image, the colors are off and there seems to be some artifacting going on.
Attached the file I was extracting in case you want to try it out.

It's an issue with the program you're using to open the DDS.

Spoiler: It opens fine for me in GIMP...

I recommend you to use DDS Converter for converting DDS to PNG.

I was using your program, i decrypted a few files and it did it well, it puts the gtx file on the same location but if i decrypt a folder it does it normally but if i go to the folder there aren't any files

Nicely done!
But i'm having a small issue.. i cant use it.. it gives me an error like:
cx_Freeze: Python error in main script

Anyone knows why?

.. i noticed that when i use version 0.2, it launches the cmd without error but i dont get any converted files..

Damn i wish i could find out why i get the error with the current version :/

EDIT: nvm, its working fine now, i had to commect to the internet the first time i open it, i guess i was missing some python stuff

Yes, you have to be online for it to work the first time.

Yup i suggest that you write a note in your first page like:
''first time usage requires internet connection, then you can use it offline. have fun!'''

That way if people have an error, they will know that they just need to connect the first time

Anyway, you've done a great job, and its prettty usefull to be able to convert in batch by selecting the folder, love it!

It might be something about your dds plugins in your pc, on my side it works perfect. Make sure to download nvidia's dds plugin too.

Hmm, can you send that .bflim?

The thing is, the textures will look like this in some dds viewer, but in photoshop its fine. The extracted textures are fine, its only the viewer in wi dows that give you these results.
