Hardware Do O3DSes and DS Lites use the same digitizer

I accidentally broke the digitizer of my O3DS and I need a spare.
I've got a friend with a broken DS Lite, but the digitizer still works.
Since I also need to fix my DS Lite's upper screen, can I get the broken DS Lite and use it's digitizer on my 3DS?

It will probably work, but the cable will likely be coming out of the wrong side of the touch panel and as already said they're not the same size

Stop and think, are you seriously gonna play about the the digitizer when you could just get a replacement for dirt cheap?
