I know the wii u is pretty much dead, but i thought miiverse was still being moderated. If you post the uncensored screenshot and a moderator sees it, aren't you risking some kind of ban?

Well I've been posting screenshots since patch 1v and everything is fine, I guess some administrators don't care or don't know about the content of the game.

Just don't post an address like gbatemp.net because it's against the rules to post links xD

i see. well, now that it think about it, miiverse is not going to be on the switch, so it makes sense that they don't care anymore

This is why I wasn't on board with the idea. I just said I liked the thought behind it.

Who cares about showing off an uncensored game to an install base of 13 million (I can't imagine how poor the sales for this specific game is.) If the recent WiiUiso hack was any indication of the homebrew community at large the amount is even less. Just enjoy your uncensored game and at best spread this information by word of mouth, posting on Miiverse is a lost cause.

It doesn't matter if it will work or not xD hahaha just do it for fun and enjoy the game!

i don't know if vgchartz is a good source, but if it is, in europe it actually sold as well as fatal frame 3 on ps2, and outsold FF 2 wii remake. of course this doesn't mean the sales were good, they were pretty bad like other games of the franchise in europe, but for fatal frame standards, they were decent. sorry, this has nothing to do with the topic and i went OT, i just thought it was ironic

Sorry to be a bother but does anyone have a save with the costumes unlocked? I would use the save method from the OP but I wont want my brother to play the game with bikini's haha. I downloaded someone's save from this thread long ago and I just injected it with FTPii Everywhere, but it didn't unlock anything. Wondering if someone provided a save around here somewhere.

This thread has it for the pal version:

I used this myself before playing the game again and it works

Wait, I'm confused. I have the EUR NUS, JPN NUS, USA NUS versions of this game, the optimal procedure would be to apply PZV_v3eurnus.xdelta to the EUR NUS version, correct? Anything else I need to do?

Ye, ideally it would be that, but unfortunately no, nus versions not working yet, you need the eur disc version.

I think later i'll remove the nus patches from the archive as they're useless there, so it will avoid these type of confusions.

Meh

Oh, okay. I'm downloading the EUR disc version anyway.
I suppose there won't be any issues replacing that one movie file, applying the patch and then repacking.
Thanks for your work.

Now the only thing I still want is a patch to remove the static filter. Yes I hate it and removed it in the previous games.

i remember removing the filter in project zero 2 wii edition using gecko codes in retail disc, maybe it's possible to do a similiar thing with maiden of black water?

Hi, is there any version of this game that works with wup installer on US WiiU? I got a EU Wud but I know it won't work with US WiiU.

Hello, I wanted to know how I can modify the text. I tried using the aluigi script. I unpacked the file "archive00.Ink" but I can not re-pack it with the modified files. I hope you can help me.

Sorry for my bad english

Hi, u can patch the EU wud to work with the US wiiu. If u dun wanna try to patch it, there's a US ready version in some iso place, i hear.

Hi, since u already edited ur text i'm just leaving this for others who want to also change text: i am not near my computer so i don't remember the name of the tool lol, but changing text is super easy with a program a user wrote and is in this forum, easy to search n find.
For more extensive text edits, particularly localization of the game to another language, there will most likely be a need to edit their layouts and some graphical adjustments, depends on what/how deep ppl wanna edit.

Now the problem is, how many files u want to change and for which game version.

For the Eur version uncensor i only had to change the text of 2 outfits and edit n replace a couple model files. Not many files, so i edited the archive00.lnk and rpx all by hand with an hex editor after i understood the files format. This method is not feasible for large quantities of files as it would take too much time to do.

Now there is this for the game, that was recently brought to my attention by another user, to unpack, repack and do the rpx changes (plus tools for graphics editing) with this set of tools https://github.com/wmltogether/BlackWaterUnpacker but it is only for the jpn game versions as the file offsets are hardcoded in the scripts (wish i knew of this before i wasted hours doing it all manually lol).
So if you want to change something in the jpn game, this tool should be enough as it will create a valid and working archive00 and rpx, as long as whatever was edited isn't messed up.
If you want to change something on Eur game then u'll (or somebody else who might be interested) have to figure out and change the hardcoded offsets in the scripts (i briefly looked at them and these scripts are using hykem's rpx unpacker, but i am using a diferent rpx unpacker which moves all the blocks around to diferent offsets so they dun match what i already have and i dun have the time to now find them with hykem's tool).

Thanks for the info.

I want to start working on a Spanish language translation, so I've been investigating how to change the text. Although I would also like to be able to edit the textures of 3D models. XD

I suppose I'll work with the JPN version, since I do not know much and I do not think I can change the offsets in the script. XD

Now the problem is that I can not compile the program that is in the github you shared with me. Hehe

Hi, I figured out how to run the EU wud on US system with sigpatcher, but looking at the OT, you are suppose use loadiine to run, is it possible to repack the game into wud after patching so I can use wud installer to install it to the HDD? Could you recommand some easy to use tools to decrypt and repack the game?

u have to use ironpython to compile iirc

I'm sorry to bother you again.
I already installed Ironpython and managed to compile the "BlackWaterPatcher" through "make_bat.bat" but I do not understand how to use the "BlackWaterUnpacker"

If it is not too much trouble, when you have time could you make a small tutorial on how to use the tool? I would greatly appreciate it.
