Hi, u can patch the EU wud to work with the US wiiu. If u dun wanna try to patch it, there's a US ready version in some iso place, i hear.
Hi, since u already edited ur text i'm just leaving this for others who want to also change text: i am not near my computer so i don't remember the name of the tool lol, but changing text is super easy with a program a user wrote and is in this forum, easy to search n find.
For more extensive text edits, particularly localization of the game to another language, there will most likely be a need to edit their layouts and some graphical adjustments, depends on what/how deep ppl wanna edit.
Now the problem is, how many files u want to change and for which game version.
For the Eur version uncensor i only had to change the text of 2 outfits and edit n replace a couple model files. Not many files, so i edited the archive00.lnk and rpx all by hand with an hex editor after i understood the files format. This method is not feasible for large quantities of files as it would take too much time to do.
Now there is this for the game, that was recently brought to my attention by another user, to unpack, repack and do the rpx changes (plus tools for graphics editing) with this set of tools
https://github.com/wmltogether/BlackWaterUnpacker but it is only for the jpn game versions as the file offsets are hardcoded in the scripts (wish i knew of this before i wasted hours doing it all manually lol).
So if you want to change something in the jpn game, this tool should be enough as it will create a valid and working archive00 and rpx, as long as whatever was edited isn't messed up.
If you want to change something on Eur game then u'll (or somebody else who might be interested) have to figure out and change the hardcoded offsets in the scripts (i briefly looked at them and these scripts are using hykem's rpx unpacker, but i am using a diferent rpx unpacker which moves all the blocks around to diferent offsets so they dun match what i already have and i dun have the time to now find them with hykem's tool).
