I just updated everything works great!

Hey bud. I'm running the prior version and have pcm's version 0.4 hmod with the gambatte (GB) and the old snes9x2010 cores installed. I'm going to update to 2.15, so can you tell me the best way to go about doing so with respect to the cores? Updating the program is no problem. I just want to make sure I do the mods right. Should I just install the latest hmod and the gambatte and snes9x2010 cores it comes with? Or should I uninstall anything first? Thanks in advance for the help!

Best to have the latest core snes2010 installed. Plus RA homd and cloverapp. They all work in sync with one another..You can transfer all your old cores over..sorry for the mixup..

Yes, but I'm asking for the best procedure. I intend to update the retroarch hmod and install gambatte and snes9x2010. Part of what I'm asking is if I can just install the latest hmod and cores over the old ones as I've done before.

This is great. Downloaded your version with games and out some if mine in it. I like this super mario remix :)
And this us the furst time that metal slug works for me. Is it possible to open the neo geo service menu? I tried to activate the blood but with no luck.
I can help you get blood. Which core are you using for metal slug?

You have to download bubbles.zip ... bubblesr.zip and bubblesp.zip and make one zip out of it.(mame2003)

If 2003 doesnt work..try mame2000..its bubbles.zip and bubblesr.zip.

The screen is smaller in mame2000, but you can adjust that in retroarch

Code:

I had him try bubbles and bubblesp zipped and it didn't work. Wasn't sure if it needed bubblesr instead but didn't know it would need all 3 lol also if it's all 3 what do you name the zip?

Ever since v2.12 (and each version since), by around the 5 minute mark of playing, the game picture and sound would drop very quickly and come back on, once per session, every time. As it happens just once and never again as long as I don't turn it off, it has never really bothered me. Has that happened to anyone else?

Did you get it working?

Nope. I tried 3 different ROMs for Marvel vs Capcom, 3 2 different ROMs for Maverl Super Heroes and one ROM for Metal Slug 3. All were cps2 (at least I think) and when I open them, the screen goes black and after about 10 seconds it sends me back to the menu.

I don't know what I am doing wrong.

May I ask, other than the fact that it isn't recognised by the NES Mini, what is the quality of this pad like? How does it feel in the hand? I read some Amazon reviews and decided not to chance it, but I'd be keen to hear some first hand feedback...
Typical third party controller. The feel of the buttons doesn't really match an actual SNES controller, pressure and sensitivity definitely feel a lot closer to a standard Wii classic controller, with stiffer L and R buttons. Had no troubles with any buttons getting jammed, which I know is rather typical for third party controllers, though the face buttons and d-pad can wobble in place a bit.

In physical resemblance to a SNES controller, it's basically spot on. Wouldn't be surprised if they've been molded from actual SNES controllers, though they are a bit lighter and the plastic seems a but weaker. Overall, it's not something to write home about but I don't regret the purchase even if I couldn't use them with the mini NES.
