They don't work period. They need to Ntag215, they are the only ones that work as Amiibo.
Check this thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/ntag216-amiibo-collaboration-thread.417447/ they where trying to get Ntag216's to work with no luck

And also, why does 215's cost more on ebay than 216? same price that i paid for the 216, but only 3 instead of 5.

And can i get the 215's cheaper on aliexpress? they cost like 13 bucks for 3 215 cards on ebay :S

Yeah, that's the video i plan to follow when i get my cards. It still works right? To use tagmo? just load the files tagmo requires, then load the amiibo data to then apply to the 215 cards and theire done?

Yeah it's new from less than a week ago. I deleted the old video because it was outdated and poorly edited

I am having trouble seeing the .bin files on my phone. I have an old Galaxy S3 sitting around that I thought I would use. I installed the TagMo apk file just fine, opened it up. But when I click on the 3 dots, even though the .bin files are in the Downloads folder, they aren't listed in the file list within Tagmo.

I tried the newest apk and a few older ones, no dice.

Are you sure you went inside of "Downloads" and then "TagMo"? If you still can't find them, try copying them from a PC so you know the exact location copied to

Can you make these without android? I want to make cards because powertags and n2elite are too expensive for how many amiibos I want. Plus cards look cooler. But I dont have android. Is there a way to add PC into this? Like running tagmo through an android emulator and then using a PC NFC reader/writer to write to it?

Anyone here need a few Skylander compatible tags? I have 6 and would be happy to mail them to you provided you can help me out. PM me for more details but the tags I have are just sitting around and should go to someone that can use them. BTW I'm only mailing these babies to someone in the US and a forum member that has been around temp for a while. Like longer than a year lol.

You can't rewrite the tags once they're written. I don't know who advertised that, but it's false
