Hi, I didn't know where put this thread. I extracted the MIDI and soundfont of pokemon leaf green with gba music ripper, this program: http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/881/
The thing is that some song sound different. For example the pokemon healed song and berry get song has like a "bubble" sound in it, but when I rip the song with the program the bubble sound is changed for a metalic sound, and I can't figure why. Do you know what am I doing wrong? Do you Know a better gba rip music program?

midi only contains information like used instrument and played music notes not specific sound waves.
You need to apply a set of instruments that match that one used in the game to get the same results (which most likely is just hardcoded somewhere in the game).

i know, the soundfount. The case is that aplying the sound fount, the song is not like the original. Others are, but those I said not

Oh, I see. Have you tired to write a midi file that contains all sounds in the soundfont and listen to it?
This way you could try to find out if maybe the searched sound isn't in the soundfont (which would be a hint to a second soundfont used in the game).

i TRIED TO FIND THE INSTRUMENT IN THE RESPECTIVE SOUNDFONT AND I COULDNT FIND IT. tHAT MEANS THAT THE SOUNDFONT IS DAMAGED, INCOMPLETE OR IS NOT THE RESPECTIVE ONE?

I tried to find the instrument in the respective soundfont and I couldn't find it. That means that the soundfont is damaged, incomplete or is not the respective one?
Most likely yes.
The midi standard has also a couple of sound effect build-in (about which I don't know enough to tell if they used one of those in the healed song or not). Probably your midi program just dosn't supports these, but more likely it seems to me that the soundfont is either damaged, incomplete or that there is a second one somewhere in the game.
Maybe try another midi player and if that dosn't helps, I would try to rerip the soundfont and if that still dosn't works I would search the ROM for another soundfont.

Edit: One of the reviews on the site for the tool you linked to says

I’m having fun ripping music from Golden Sun and it’s working perfectly. There are issues with some instruments (and I don’t think this is the only game with that problem), so it’s not really good for soundtrack rips yet, but it’s the best there is and I’m sure they’ll fix everything in future releases. In the meantime, this tool is absolutely recommended for video game music lovers
maybe it's just the fault of the ripping tool :(
