The CHMM2 can be fixed by install the dspdump home brew application.
What are you talking about? dspdump only allows homebrew apps to have sound/music on them. It is not required to load Homebrew apps, and I know this for a fact as I've handled 3DS'es that didn't have dspdump installed yet could still use CHMM. There would be a warning every time you load it to install it, and without it the preview didn't obviously have music in it, but it was not required to install themes, and once installed the themes did have their sound effects.
