Hardware Batery doesnt charge up to even 50%?

So i have been playing my switch regulary on portable mode and i have been turning it completely off since i dont like the sleep mode at all on anything and placing it on the dock, for the last 2 days i have been leaving my switch on the dock totaly powered off and when i take it off the dock its always at around 44- 47 % and i leavue it there for basicaly 24 hours on the dock is it just me or is it not charging correctly?

then how would my joycons get charged? my right joycon already says low batery and the left one is like mid batery god know why.

I just wondered if detaching them would allow the Switch unit to reach 100% and then reattach the Joycons.

I've had to arrange a return of my own Switch today due to the battery only lasting an hour so I am looking out for others with the same or similar issues.

Have you drain it all the way down?
Its possible to be an OS problem and just not reading a higher battery %

no i havent and i just tested it it said 1% batery and i played for another hour and still hasnt gone into sleep mode, its for sure a os problem not reading batery level properly, lol nintendo.
