Thanks for help!

I read all instructions seems simple enough.

Is the original Super Mario Bros game on NES considered a VC title? I have it already, could I use that to run the exploit?
Only legit, DS VC titles.

It's clearly written which games could be used for the exploit.
To make it short: No, only a few DS games are supported.

Any chance that the listed VC titles will get discounts down the road?
If you're in the Europe/Australia/Oceania region (maybe Malaysia?) you might be able to download Brain Training for free.
I think it depends on whether you had SpotPass turned on at some point or not.

No one could tell. Are less than 10 bucks really too much to hack your Wii U persistently? ;)
Ok, just bought Zelda: Spirit Tracks. First DS game on WiiU, and the emulated screen is tiny..
Going to start now.

Bought my WiiU around 2015 and my country don't have our own eshop and my region is set to US.

Is there any way to get the button shortcuts to work with a pro controller? I know you can remove the gamepad requirement by editing drc_use in meta.xml to 1, but it would be good if the shortcuts worked with the pro controller also rather than just the default haxchi boot.

Hi to everybody, first of all yestarday i bought super mario 64 ds for installing haxchi.

I execute haxchi withough any problem and i execute loadiine gx 2 for playing a virtual console games, all its ok. But when i go out of the game and in the main menu i execute again haxchi for playing another virtual console game, my wiiu its freezen i obtain a black screen.

I used the last version of haxchi.

Its possible to repair that?

Thxs a lot.

You don't need to run haxchi twice.
when you get out from the game and you are back in the menu, all you need to do is
run mii maker again, that will go back to loadiine (depends how you have it set up). then select your game.

Did you run CFW/Sigpatches before your second launch?

Of course. I mean i turn on the console run sig. patch, installed bomberman then run the game. Ok everything fine but after i quit from bimberman and start again the game just froze.

I need to update my haxchi (not cold boot)

how do I do that? I currently am using rednand and load into rednand by holding down A while loading into Haxchi and I'm not currently interested in coldboot homebrewchannel

Download newest Haxchi, extract to SD (one haxchi folder goes to SD:\ and one to SD:\wiiu\apps)
Don't overwrite the config.txt if you want to keep yours. Otherwise overwrite everything.
Run the installer from HBL again and select the game where Haxchi is already installed.
Profit.

Cool, what would be the process for updating the HBC? google is not giving me much to go on
The channel version of the Homebrew Launcher?
To be sure go to system settings and data management. Delete the old one.
Get the new one, put it to SD:\install
Run a CFW and install it with WUP Installer (GX2 for example).
Didn't know there ever was an update for the channel version though.

If I hold A on the game that shows up as HAXCHI (shows up in both sysnand and rednand) it boots me into rednand (did this back in november before mochaCFW or w/e). The github guide is different than what i've seen before now.

If I just click on haxchi it loads the homebrew channel

and yeah, I'm using 1.4 HBC and theres like 2.1 out?

edit: I guess I mean the launcher. I wish there was an easier way of making sure these were updated.

edit2: holding A on launching haxchi loads the HBL, else loads rednand

edit3: from what I can tell, HBL hasn't gotten an update, but HBC has gotten an update.

Guys, I'm planning to install the Homebrew Launcher Channel on my WiiU + Haxchi + Patched Sysnand ( don't wanna spend money on a 64GB SD Card). Is it safe or, since it is Sysnand, the launcher could brick my WiiU ( of course I would only open it after booting Haxchi)
