Cars are the same, I've owned many different cars, each have their faults, some fixable some not. Get used to it, it's called life. It's just the way it is. It's the way things are done at this point in history. If you don't like it, start your own company and change the way the industry does things. I will be the first in line to buy your product and crap all over it.

Now can we put all the negativity aside and start talking about how awesome the switch is?

I truly believe it will replace my N3DSXL as my goto portable gaming solution, which is quite a feat. Good job Nintendo, thank you for listening to us that wanted better resolution for gaming. I hope they work out all the kinks for round 2.

If I had problems with a brand new car, I'd take it back to the dealership and tell them to fix it thanks to a thing called consumer rights.

That's correct. If the steering wheel of a car randomly fails to function, you will probably die, but fuck it, that's the way of life.

Sad to say it but you are 100% correct. If you knew anything about automotive recalls you would see that. I just had the ignition fix done on my Cobalt SS/TC because people were dying so ya.

There are many instances where it was cheaper to settle out of court for fatalities instead of issuing massive recalls.

Yep.

Sorry I think a car is a bad example. A phone would be a better comparison in this instance.

That may be, I'm sure you could use many things as an example. It's just the way things are right now because nobody in the manufacturing industry has come up with a better way of handling the sheer volume of shit they make and the defects that come with it.

Yes you are totally right. It's common in massproduction.

Cars =\= Nintendo Switch
That doesn't mean you can't bitch about what's flawed about something

True, Nintendo does deserve some flack for the problems, but all I have seen is flack. It's getting tiresome, this is my little attempt at changing the attitude around here since they have done some really good things as well with the Switch. It may be futile but if you never try you will never succeed in anything.

Well I mean, the console does looks nice and I still kinda want it...
But it's flawed
And no one can deny that
Maybe it's just the negativity/hate/whatever you want to call it bandwagon

Hmmm, you bought a Chevy Cobalt, based on that I'll probably have to discount everything you say due to your questionable judgement. I can't remember buying a product and having it fail on me due to poor manufacturing, I'd definitely be upset if I dropped $400 on new electronics and they had serious issues.

Your "stop bitching 'cause I think the Switch is great" argument is pretty weak. You would probably have received better responses with something along the lines of "I understand that people are upset, it's a brand new product and it's expensive, so naturally it's very disappointing when problems arise, I just hope those people get their problems resolved soon so they can enjoy their Switch as much as I'm enjoying mine". Describing people's reasonable disappointment as "bitching" is obvious trolling.

Well I do understand OP. The hate bandwagon on Nintendo is so old that it's tiresome. Some people just attack Nintendo because it's Nintendo.
I think the Switch is an excellent product. I love the handheld mode (main reason I bought it) but I do understand people being sad about theirs faults. But I don't think the massive negativity is alright either, kind of unwarrent. If it was more critical like fixing a joycon with a single cable and actually ask Nintendo why? Why was this not standard in the joycon if it fixes all the issues with it?

Instead now days it's "It's sucks! Because I think it is. Therefore it's true!"

Yes I've seen much hate on Cobalts, doesn't phase me since most subie's can't keep up. Wanna meet me at Mission Raceway? Put your money where your mouth is? I've had many RWD/AWD but this car serves me well at the moment.

The switch is really not that expensive even if you just work at McDonalds. The problem with it is most people don't live within their means, that's not Nintendo's fault.

You want expensive try for a SLI 980Ti or 1080Ti (now that they are here) rig.

I've had many problems with electronics. My Note 4 has a camera problem I can't take closeups, it's a known issue but I still liked the phone. My Onkyo AV unit needed repairs after the warranty ran out, still love it. I've had many problems with some of Asus's motherboards, still use them. I guess you can count yourself lucky.

I have been there done that, you people just need to BREATHE. Relax, go for a walk in a park. Then when you come back deal with returning or fixing the system, it's not the end of the world.

Your point is only valid if you buy it used. If you buy a brand new car and its deffect, you would need to be reallly stupid to keep it and say ''well, this is life, i will get use to it..'' i think the only people who will not complain are the one who didnt pay themself, or the ones who have no issues. If you payed and it is deffect, YOU WILL care.

But, i understand the point you really wanted to share and its true, we hear a lot of bitchin about it and bot enough of the good stuff it haves..
...but its understandable since before the launch all we heard was how great it is and that the 'nx' will not replace the wiiU..and now, we learn that Zelda's the last game they will make on the wiiU and that they stopped wiiU's production already (in most countries..), and that TONS of switch are deffect (the battery not fully charging or displaying, left joycon commections issues, screen dead pixels, etc..) and they advice to not play near other electronics and aquariums etc etc., all this compiled makes the consumers angry and disapointed, its normal.
... but of course if you didnt buy the console with your own gained money, you might not care and just start whining about people who complains.. ..

all and all, all i really want to tell you: dont worry, be patient and let the 'issues fest' pass..and after a while you will be hearing more about the good sides of the switch ;)
Peace.

I assume you are still just trolling, or trying to be hilarious.

"most people don't live within their means, that's not Nintendo's fault", really? What your saying here is that the thing being a piece of crap is OK, as long as the people buying it can afford to buy a piece of crap.

And I'm sure your Cobalt is really fast, no doubt it would beat my F150 over a 1/4 mile. That said, I'm sure you'd struggle to get 10 sheets of plywood, a ton of gravel, or even a 50" television in the back of it, stop imposing your values on everyone else, it's ignorant behaviour.

Mmm, I somehow feel like you are assuming I didn't pay for my stuff. Well sir, most my family is deceased and I pay for everything with money I earn from getting off my ass and working hard.

Also, I don't see why people are complaining about the Wii U lifespan, it was almost as long as the original Xbox (which I also own). Unfortunately the graph only goes to 2015 but it is now 2017 so the Wii U is only slightly behind.

I am also the owner of a Dreamcast, I didn't cry and whine when it died. I just went out and bought a PS2.

Ant when my PS2 couldn't play newer DVD movies I didn't cry and whine, I went out and bought the Xbox DVD playback kit for my Xbox.

And when I got tired of having to buy so many consoles to get shit done, I just went out and bought a PC.

Actually I use my 1976 K30 1ton with a Corporate 14 Bolt (shaved) w/detroit locker, Dana 70, NP205 (Twin sticked), Full floaters front and back with warn hubs. What you got? Oh you just "bought" a truck and didn't build one, nm... If I said anything more I would feel like I'm making fun of a mentally handicapped person and that's just not right.

In what world should I let a company bend me over and fuck me out of $500 and just accept it as life? If a product isn't worth its value, or has an abundance of issues, then criticism is just. How is anything going to change if you say or do nothing.

The Switch's release has honestly been the peak of "Nintendo can do nothing wrong".

How did they "fuck" you out of your money? Why can't you return it for a replacement?

I think the thing that we SHOULD be angry about it the fact that if you have to return your Switch, you can't back up your save. You will have to start all over. Now THAT would piss me off... On the other hand, if you are having major issues I don't think you would have "played" the game that much anyway would you?

Yes, I just bought a truck, to haul stuff and to get me from A to B. It cost me $1500 safetied. I didn't build a truck because I have no interest in doing so. You see, you did it again, you assumed your world view is right, and anyone else is "just bitching".

How's the gas mileage on that K30 BTW? Got some pix of it with a bed full of gravel?
