no.
I will not be buying a wii u game that had various features removed just so the version on the new console is better than it
they are both the same game I have not heard of an exclusive features for switch. only difference is slightly better graphics on switch.

At first BOTW wii u had a ton of extra features for the gamepad, until the switch port started and all cool shit was removed just for the switch version it be better/equal with the wii u version
See this version of BOTW from 2014 for proof

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Solution !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update console to version 5.5.1. game runs perfect after i did that!

Don't use Loadiine with this game. No matter how fast your SDCard is, it will still fail, to load world.
It loads every object on-the-go if you haven't noticed by now.
I'm running this game on NAND and everything works perfectly fine!

The game has been officially released. Please support Nintendo by buying their game.
Already done. Game is awesome. Not worth pirating it.

However i do want to rip it so i can safely put the disc away.

I don't see anything missing.

I'm on 5.5.1, game still freezes at this cutscene with the update

Edit: Found my fix - I deleted the BOTW update I had downloaded from USB Helper, and installed it directly from Nintendo's update server via the Wii U.

Last edited by Skelux,
I can confirm that both steps are required (most likely)
1) updating to 5.5.1 (100%)
2) updating directly from Nintendo's update server (probably depends on your update, mine didn't work)

I was on 5.3.2, removed the update using USB Helper, udpated from Nintendo => Didn't help
Only updating to 5.5.1 resolved the issue.

External USB used.
UPDATE: also helped with loadiine version
