Heh, the reason we got that update msg on cemu in the first place was a simple version.txt in the content/system dir, that had the string 0.9.0, changing it to 1.0.0 boots it without the mandatory pack lol.

Got a l33t build of the game now :)

You know what would be cool? I know it is super far into the future but I like to think ahead...anyways, you know how Dolphin is GC and Wii in one? It would be neat if in the far future Cemu also turned into a Switch emulator. xD

This wouldn't really make much sense. Dolphin combines GC and Wii because those two consoles share much of the same hardware. Wii U and Switch are based on completely different architectures.

Disable the intel gpu in bios seriously the optimus detection by most games is broken, the intel gpu is only their for power saving anyway and shares ram off your system ram also in doing so unlocks some more options in the nvidia control panel like adapative half vsync, scaling and custom resolutions.

Nope, the only one that come close would be ppsspp regarding development speed.
i remember when citra was first reveal here( its thread opened) in april 2014, just a few months before cemu was revealed. and citra then could hardly be called an emulator. it could just run few homebrew . and the first commercial game booted in dec 2014, whereby cemu premiered with MK8 booting in oct 2014. fast forward up till now, citra can boot and run and higher percentage of native libraries compared to cemu, not to mention support for many types of homebrew, whereas cemu cant boot homebrew, cant debug games, and it is actually barebones if you compared it to other emulators during their 2nd year of development. PPSSPPs growth was fast, but that is due to
1. the psp being heavily documented, and many homebrews and hacks created,.
2. there was already a functional open sourced emulator, jpcsp. so the really was a lot of stuff to refer from.
3. Hendricks is awesome. he also has a lot of experience with emulators as he was a core dev of dolphin.
so ppsspps growth is not as astounding as citra or cemu, as they had to work blindly. even a lot of 3dbrew info came from citra research.

I would not say Citra's development matches Cemu. The PSPS emulator though...I totally forgot about that one.

Oh! Well then, it would have been really cool. :shy:
