Bootleg GB & GBC Games

I'd like to discuss ways to play Bootleg games. Or even fake games. If anyone can answer my question. So apparently with a fake game you can just replace the crappy battery for a new one. Is that true? I just bought some fake GBC pokemon games and would like to know.

So I hear the biggest problem is bad saving. So I was thinking if you didn't care about authenticity you could just replace the battery.

i don't like to play games at the computer the chair is very uncomfortable. a gameboy on the couch would be better.

i love bootlegs /hacks ! i envy them, there are realy some good pokemon hacks!

You will need to open cartridge to know the answer. Not every bootleg has battery. Open it and if you see a battery, then you should be fine. But most of the bootlegs use something else (worse than battery save) to save game.
