Yes, you're correct.
For Genesis, Master System and Game Gear use Genesis Plus GX
For now, the only core for SNES available in the repo is Snes9x2010. I've seen that CATSFC works better, but I need people's feedback on this. If it works great, I'll add it as a module.
As for the N64, I've seen that GLupeN64b works better than Mupen64Plus

Classic Controller should work, but I don't have one, so can't say for sure

I need more details on what did you do, PM me, please

Thanks again for the reply. One last question: how can I check how much free space I have on Nes mini? Because I keep adding and adding games :)

Yes, you can install them in one go

Sure, I'll add it to the repo.
We'll see with the 32X.
The only core available in RA's repo for 32X is PicoDrive. I'll look into alternative PicoDrive cores from other RA distributions.

Thanks. Whats the difference between fb_alpha.hmod and fb_alpha_cps2.hmod? I thought fb_alpha was a core able to do CPS1, CPS2, and NeoGeo? Is fb_alpha a subcore for only NeoGeo (if so, could it be renamed like with the CPS2 one)? Is there a subcore for CPS1 that could be added? Thanks again.

C4 error when I try to save the 17th save state. Always and consistently. I deleted 1 save state, and was able to save just fine. Anything other than that was just another C4 error.
Okay for the 17th game try this. Launch the snes game. Once it's launched hold R L start and select and it will bring up retro menu. Go down where it says save state. Click it and save it. Then exit the game. Now load game back up again and then get back into retro settings. And then go down and click load save state.

Well take for example emu paradise if you download a romset it has multiple versions of each game including hacks etc. in those versions the official true best working ones will have an explanation point in it. If it does not have an explanation point then it's a risky rom.
yeah I got the no intro set from there, the roms don't have the [!] like you're describing I just go for the most vanilla sounding ones. like Donkey Kong Country (USA) over Donkey Kong Country (USA) (RevB) or something like that

let me know how it goes for you, I tried updating to this latest release and when I turn my nes on, It was black screen for 2 or 3 seconds then it was blurry on the main NES interface with red ish lines across everything and when I tried launching game it went back to main menu. I had to go back to the old release. but if it works for you maybe I did something wrong

I do the opposite. I always use the latest No-Intro revisions (i.e. Rev. 2 over Rev. 1 or the vanilla one), as they are (I believe) the latest version of the ROM. If any issues are patched out of the game, you'll see that in a later revision. Most version changes are minor though, from what I've read. Either way, as they are all good dumps, in the No-Intro set, it shouldn't matter. Then again, the revision might have been done to remove a game-breaking bug.

Okay that's your problem then. Stop getting those random vanilla bad roms. Get the ones that have (U!) unless your trying Europe get (E!) or Japan then get (J!)

Fixed. Sorry, guys. Redownload the hmods, please

Thanks a lot for the quick work! BTW I'm trying to install some other cores like virtual boy. I'm using your template.
Where can I get the corresponding info file? step 4 in the readme. I've found the cores on the nightly builds. I'm stuck at
the info file part.

No, this is not the issue. It is not a matter of game stability, but rather something to do with a memory limit of some sort. I have used the individually downloadable ROMs found in a paradise-like place (not part of a set), as well as [!] ROMs from other places. Have you been able to make 20 save states for your snes games?

the no intro romset is pretty much the defacto recommended romset and I don't see any roms with [!]. The roms work perfectly fine it's just that I am unable to save more than 16 save states amongst all of them.

I will try this now. Thank you.

Retro Arch ave states work just fine on my end. The problem is C4 errors after a certain amount of save states using the NESCE's save state method of 4 per game. I am also unable to have more than 18 save states in my original 30 games before I get a C4 error. Is this a hackchi 2.12 problem?

Hi i just got the Hakchi2.12 and tried to added N64 and GBA Games, but when I start them, the sounds get messed up all the time. Seems like it is to slow for the image.

Mother 3 Fan Patch US Rom is completely messed and the castlevania GBA games get messed up dialogue boxes.

Banjo Kazooie won't even start properly. The logo come on like 2 fps. Mario 64 only has messed up sound. Any help? There are 450 nes games on it as well. Could this be a problem?

Tried changing the retroarch options in game, but disabling v sync didn't help anything

Was thinking about redoing everything. Getting the original kernel back on and starting hakchi2.12 fresh with the hmod.

Hope someone can help.

Has anyone updated to PCM latest release? https://github.com/pcm720/retroarch-clover/releases and have it working?

Edit: Also, After I uninstall my Old Retroarch Module, Do I have to install the new Retroarch Module FIRST THEN INSTALL the core hmods? or can I do the retroarch module + the cores at once.

Edit: The description for cps2 core hmod file says its for atari 2600 support?
