That was a quick reply! Sorry but I derped. I did mean to say 6.60! my Vita itself is running 3.60 OFW(although the PSP mode inside of the Vita says it's CFW is PSP 6.61 Adrenaline). Sorry!

Hrm... the PSP is running 6.60-Pro? Odd... are you running any other plug-ins? Do you have pre-existing save information? When ISOs don't appear correctly in the menu it's usually a sign of old FW. I would try to re-install your CFW as a precaution.

As far as the Vita, if you can put 6.60 Pro on the internal PSP that would be most useful for testing. I'll have to hunt down one of my PSPs and test when I'm off work today.

Hmm. I'm kinda surprise people play this on vita but I'm curious of the actual result.

@negi: Okay. Odd, Pique is able to play properly on his psp 3000 too. There was once instance where he had errors but that was because of a corrupted iso he made. Resolved after he rebuild it. Not sure if that will help.

Huzzah! After uninstalling and re-installing Pro-C on my PSP the game is working perfectly fine. It's a clunky piece of junk with a loose battery and jammed buttons but it'll do for now. Two of the reasons I got a Vita was PSP emulation and "easy access" to games so it's a shame I couldn't get it working, if only we could pinpoint what exactly stop it form working on the Vita... I read on r/Gundam someone has the same issue I do but he had it on the PSP. I think in the end, it does have something to do with the Vita's current PSP CFW. Not sure what can be done about that.

Edit: At Crashman's suggestion, I tinkered around with the Adrenaline Firmware present inside of the PSP mode of the Vita, I found out to my surprise that it is actually a re-named Pro-C! Without even editing anything I was able to explore the GUI and make minor changes (nothing special, you can do this in PRO-CFW easily) So now things get even more curious! I will test a vanilla piece iso of Overworld and see if that's any different.

Nice to hear that.

I know it's pretty quiet on weekends on Gbatemp but
if anyone can play it on Vita, do post your achievement? :X.

Also, danikk posted that he will be away during this weekend. So, any further fix might only occur next week.

Yep, an unpatched iso works just fine. This leaves us at a strange impasse. The firmware is right, the isos are right. Iso runs fine on official hardware and on an emulator but for some reason the Vita is the odd man out. At this point it seems like i'm fighting a losing battle here. It would be nice if I could get this fixed but at this point I feel like my request is starting to get a little selfish. If danikk can tinker around with it a little and see what he can do then i'd really appreciate it but I don't want to add extra work onto what is already a complete project. If I haven't already said it before then i'll say it again. Thanks to each and every one of you for making it through this development hell. Too many times i've seen projects like this die a slow and painful death and i'm not just glad this got released, i'm glad you guys came together and stuck to it and finished it despite all the hardships i'm sure you encountered along the way.

TL;DR If you can fix it, cool. If it's too much hassle, ehhh.. I'll live.

For the record, trying to use a World iso (instead of Overworld) on the PSP yields the same result as Negi_Springfield is seeing on the Vita. (But I guess the cause of the problem is different on the Vita.)
Would you mind posting more info about how the game bugs on the Vita? Is it just a corrupted display but the game launches? (If there's displayed corrupted images, would you mind sharing a screenshot or two?)

i tried on my vita 1k firmware 6.61 adenaline.. first its runs normaly until the parts data load and its blackout without end..

Dont have psp though..oh mom still cant play this game..

i got the same problem with my vita 1k. Hope we can fix it soon :'(. Really love this game

If they are running 6.61 adenaline like I am then it's a modified PRO system of some kind. It has all of the same built-in features and then some extra ones.

dont know how to explain..hope this help a little..

same as mine after asking for 800kb save file after that blank black screen on vita slim and vita tv both using adrenaline havent had a chance to try ARK maybe it might work on Vita :)

It appears they can't even get into the game. However, if you do have old save data I would recommend removing it.

Unfortunately Danikk is out for the weekend, it's good we've been able to confirm which CFW has the issue however.

Well, to me it sounds like that or there's a problem trying to create a new save slot by that vita thing due to mismatch ID.

Edit:
In any case, all we have are guesses :X. Till then, will leave it the pro!
