So what should I search for?
First, you have to make a 64-bit search using doubles. A good converter is here. Enter your decimal number and click convert to binary. The hex will be on the bottom-left in its IEEE754 form.
Now, since 64-bit writes aren't supported by the cafe codetype (yet! :D) we will have to do two 32-bit writes. First, the address you got in the search, and second, the first address plus the offset of 0x4. The first address will be written the first 32-bits of the double of what you want to write, and the second address will have the last 32-bits. So, for example, if I got 1F45ABCD as my 64-bit address, and wanted to write 3 (4008000000000000 in IEEE754), this would be the code:
Code:
00020000 1F45ABCD
40080000 00000000
00020000 1F45ABD1
00000000 00000000

For the life of me. I can't find the health codes for pacman and the ghostly adventures. I've searched unknown greater than less than all of the memory bounds. And I've searched for any number I can think it might be. Still nothing.
Anyone give me help on what to do
I found the health and as I guessed it's a floating point value (32-bit long). I found the health at address 1EC5D65C in Level 1 in loadiine. To find it yourself just do a float search with number of hearts you currently have.

I'll try that. Did it change on the screen. Or did you have to do something like pause or get something.

Nothing special just dumped the memory after every hit and searched with cheat engine and a custom big endian float type for the value in the memory dumps. During the dumping process I paused the game so that no stupid things will happen but I guess you will have the same results when you don't pause the game.

You know, I just wanted to say that it really is great of you guys to go through the effort of finding codes.

Some of them have helped me so far.

It's just FUN (except for the times when the address is in the last memory section you look in, in which case, one emoji: :glare:)
This is why I find wii hacking better, easier and more fun; only two memory ranges to search in (and that's if you can't find the address in MEM1, which has never happened to me), and my internet is slow, so wii u hacking can be a nightmare. :D

Yea even though I'm clueless about codes I also liked Wii hacking more. Too bad the Wii U isn't as easy. I'm happy you have fun with it though.

Random question to every one though, are there any codes for Super Mario Maker? I'd like to get through 100 Mario Run on expert to unlock super expert, but I can't get past it. Is there an invincibility code?

I would make a lives code for you, but I don't have NTSC-U :(
I could give you the range in which the address should be located though, if you want! :)

That would be very kind. I'm kind of completely clueless on codes though. I know I need jgeckou (which I have), but is there any chance I could corrupt my save (or Wii U for that matter) if I don't know what I'm doing? Chances are I'm gonna mess something up since I've never done this before.

Not unless you do anything stupid. I can give you a tutorial if you want! That way, if you do exactly what I write, you won't obliterate your wii u! :)

As much as I'd love to, I really do feel like I would somehow mess up. If I had some experience I probably would, but for right now, I think I'm going to pass.

I do appreciate the offer though. Thank you :)

invincibility is probably the 2nd easiest code to make, next to known value searches.

get hit by an item. while ur blinking pause and do a 16 bit unknown search. unpause and pause again. search less than. repeat until ur not blinking and then search 0000. u should have an address. if it doesnt work then get hit by an item and pause and search greater than while blinking. unpause and pause again. search less than. repeat until ur not blinking and then search 0000. by now u should have an address. set it to 7FFF

@BigOnYa, why do people hate seasons 20 and 23 of south park?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I don't know. People hate and down vote everything nowdays. I see it especially on gamestores, like every game has a negative rating, even though they are good games.

1st video- That's why I hate ordering stuff online, if I can just go pick it up myself nearby. Wal-Mart online did that to me years ago, sent wrong item, I went to Wal-Mart by me to return, but noo, I had to mail it back and wait.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
99% of the time ordering online I have had flawless experiences, only time something was messed up, I ordered a big TV from Amazon and it came smashed the box was literally like some one jumped up and down on it, didn't even open it, contacted Amazon sent them pictures, they made me open it and take more pictures, free label to return it and they sent another. So it was relatively painless. But still annoying.
