I'm one of those Sysnand 9.2 + Luma users. (No, i won't get A9lh because i already have it on my second 3DS.) I'm currently using a 11.1 NFIRM and i'm on Emunand 11.2. Is it safe to update my Emunand after deleting the 11.1 NFIRM and instead getting the official 11.3?
It's safe for Luma3ds users to update, but I am not sure about those who use Sysnand.

I can confirm a safe downgrade from 11.3 to 11.2 using a sysNand backup and hourglass9. I can also confirm that FBI and Luma updater work on 11.3

You can update your games through freeshop without updating your system.
Go in freeshop and tap the controller. If there's a green exclamation mark next to a game, click its name and you can download the update.
Same goes for any DLC it may have, just yellow exclamation marks instead.
Thanks alot. And how do you get the dlc fir free? I noticed some games I download from freeshop comes with some or all of the dlc but like ssb it did not download any of the dlc.

Check the iso site. Thats where I got mine

EDIT: wait, didn't see that you had freeshop. Can you just search for the DLC pack??

You can't "Search" the DLC, but if the game has DLC you can click the "SNES Controller" icon and it'll show you a yellow ! if you can download DLC through FreeShop. To my understanding, it just downloads it all.

Yea it's just weird how it did not download super smash bros dlc for cloud etc

I have my 3ds hardmodded and have no problem testing new updates. As others have stated, I can confirm that users on Luma3DS are safe to update to 11.3. Enjoy

You're not even allowed to mention the site by name, it's essentially the same as posting the link....
Whoop, my bad. Fixed that. Just typed without much thought. Sorry about that.

Exactly, however if I'm not mistaken "That ISO site" is okay to say
Gotcha, I'll be more careful.

New 3DS w/ 11.3.0-36U + Luma3DS (v6.6)+ A9LH = Working

Just to help some folks out, I would like to share my personal experience w/ updating to 11.3.0-36U.

Prior to updating my new 3DS, which has A9LH, to 11.3.0-36U, I was using a super old version of Luma3DS (some version that came out in mid-2016). Right after the update finished, my 3DS rebooted into a black screen. Immediately, I sense something was not right so I started panicking. I tried rebooting several times with and without the same microSD card but nothing worked. I tried using a different card and that didn't work either. Then I did some digging and found that 11.3.0-36U was the source of the issue, so I decided to follow the A9LH guide posted on https://3ds.guide/updating-a9lh to update A9LH and Luma3DS and got my 3DS to boot up again.

A few things that I had to do different:

In section 1 of the A9LH guide, it says to, "Copy arm9loaderhax.bin from the Luma3DS .zip to the root of your SD card, overwrite existing files". the overwrite for me didn't work on my copy of Windows 10 Insider Preview build. So, I manually deleted arm9loaderhax.bin from the root of my microSD card and copy arm9loaderhax.bin from the Luma3DS .zip to the root of my microSD card.

Also, I deleted the config.bin file located the luma folder on my microSD card.
