so that's what broke, Well it was interesting to see how far you can update rxtools without it breaking completely I doubt there will be an rxtools update anytime soon so I already deleted the files and the emunand and I was using for it
You really didn't need to delete the emuNAND.

I really had no need for it anymore the only reason I was still using my emunand was just to see how long rxtools would last just to keep the rxtools people informed since a lot don't update until other users say it safe

Yeah I know, no rush, I don't need to use it yet anyway. Everything else still works and Luma3DS works no problem.

Making a "Master" 11.2U band backup. Blurred out my serial number. Made my own custom d9logo.bin bottom splash.

Last edited by Jayro,
I was near the end of the 3ds.guide when it said to update. I updated and ended up on 11.3.0-36. It seems like I need the Homebrew Launcher to finish the guide though. How long does it usually take to upload a new payload? Not complaining, just trying to see how long I need to set my N3DS aside for. :)

Wow, just my luck...

I was literally finishing hacking the 3ds using THE guide, and I reached Section VI - Finalizing setup, AFTER updating the system to the latest version, as the guide says.

I was supposed to start the Homebrew Channel for the first time (step 14) so I can finalize the process. It doesn't start, though, as it can't download the necessary payload.
I guess my only option now is to wait, right?

EDIT: Just saw this, thanks.

That's okay, the guide literally changed to fasthax as I was on the middle of the guide, about to do the 9.2 downgrade. I was pissed, and almost bricked my gf's Galaxy N3DS.

I think it's just steps 14-16 that can't be completed. The other steps went fine on my device.
