I encountered the error you got with soundhax before, and the reason is that your otherapp payload is set up incorrectly (not the music file, the other one). Make sure to download the correct version from smealum's site, rename it as otherapp.bin, and put it on the root of your card.

Updating to 11.2 right now. Hope all goes well and Pokemon Bank works again! I'm gonna have to delete SmileBASIC since the exploit no longer works but at least I got Sounhax.

Anyone actually in this thread that needs help with pokemon bank not reading your saves. I have 2 fixes for you. Unfortunately both ways require cfw, but here they are:
1. Run NTR then pokemon bank right afterwards.
2. Delete the pokemon bank and download the free shop version.

I had the same problem and #2 fixed my bank with no issues I used this one so I didn't have to boot NTR every time I wanted to use the bank. Enjoy!

Thanks for that. Hopefully it helps someone. There is another issue though, as PokéBank and the transporter simply don't work with GateWay EmuNAND seemingly at all. Believe me, I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it from the eShop and the FreeShop as well, to no avail. It basically just doesn't work on GateWay. Probably not something we can fix. With this, DSiWare and GBA games I sort of wish I could upgrade to CFW without losing all my stuff. Oh well.

You can actually upgrade to CFW while keeping your stuff, so long as you make a backup of your emunand and restore it to sysnand. https://3ds.guide/ should cover this.

SysNand? Sounds a bit sketchy, I'm still on 4.1.0U so I can use my Acekard2i when I want to. And I know the process isn't just that simple because when I upgraded from a 16GB to a 64GB SD card a few months back I had to manually extract and reinsert all my saves an reinstall everything because it just didn't transfer even using the emunand tool. I also use my GateWay card frequently as there are plenty of non eShop titles. (It just sucks we've never gotten GBA support since I have a legit ambassador certificate and I love Minish Cap.)

SysNand refers to the actual system itself, and if you're able to get to 11.2fw and do the guide, you can install games directly to the system, even if they are cartridge, eshop, or Virtual Console. You can also inject games into the virtual console and use your system as an official emulator!

I know what SysNAND is, you very much misunderstood me. If I do that I won't be able to use my Acekard since I'm on an incredibly old firmware on purpose and only using EmuNand. There's no iteration of me installing something to my SysNAND; I want that to stay right where it is.

Bottom line for other people who can't get the newest version of bank working with their saves; it just doesn't seem to work on GateWay right now...
