Homebrew (REQUEST) Pokémon Dream World alternative/replacement

I have no idea where to put this post, so it will be here and in the DS Homebrew section.
I have the feeling that a Pokémon Dream World alternative/replacement would be possible considering how well Sudomemo worked out. I really enjoyed the Pokémon Dream World and would like it if someone brought it back, even if it is homebrew software.

Spoiler: My wishes for the project.

It actually works.
The creator is able to reproduce the old Pokémon Global Link. (This one is very low priority.)
Customizable C-Gear.
Ability to connect by changing the system's proxy or DNS settings. (This is VERY high-priority, as I broke my Action Replay.)
Ability to trade Pokémon over GTS. (Also low priority.)
Event Pokémon.
Customizable Pokédex.

The Pokémon Dream World (Japanese: ポケモンドリームワールド Pokémon Dream World) was a browser-based massively single-player online game that connected to Pokémon Black and White and Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Operated via the Pokémon Global Link website, the Dream World allowed players to send a Pokémon to the Internet to obtain items and meet other Pokémon, making the website like a Generation V analog to the Pokéwalker.

According to the Pokémon Global Link website, the Dream World closed on January 14, 2014, alongside all other services for Generation V games.

The best way to get Dream world pokemon is finding someone who has backed up a copy of each one, inject it into a safe file, then breed one of those, I believe the "Project Pokemon" forums have legitimate dream world pokemon extracted for just such a use!

It's not about just getting the Pokémon. It's the fun of the Pokémon Dream World that I want back.

All it really was a bunch of minigames and the ability to find some unique pokemon, the website has a different set of mingames now, but the most important part of the dream world was access to the unique hidden ability Pokemon!

Btw, you posted this in the 3ds section, not the ds section. Also, correct me if im wrong, i think somebody would have to analyze the pokemon dream world while it was active to make a copy of it. Now, if we really wanted something fun and useless to come back, the platinum wifi plaza. That was good shit.

I wasn't either. And the Pokémon Dream World isn't useless. And I don't believe anybody decided to analyze the DS's online services, but look where we are now.

I also wish that the Dream World would make a return. I guess that you want the 'true' experience, like me. It's not the same fun to just inject the pokémon into your cartridge. I don't know how the AltWFC works, but it seems more difficult to make the DW come back. Even so I hope so much that somebody figures out some way to do it. I feel like I didn't get the full experience, I have only like less than 10 pokémon obtained from the DW, and only one of those is in a Dream Ball, somehow... And two of them are still in the Entree Forest, oh the surpise I had when I checked that two weeks ago. Strangely, the Whismur in the Forest doesn't have a move, from what I checked on some editing tools. I don't know how, but I am like 99.99% sure I didn't use any editing tools of that sort to inject pokémon to my Entree Forest. And why would it be a Whismur? The other pokémon I have in the Forest is an Omanyte, that one has Muddy Water.

Well, I have great news! You may have heard that Project Kaeru recently released nds-constraint and set up a DNS redirect to Wiimmfi. Well, they have the assets for the game and are working on getting it restored! You can join their Discord server for updates.

I too think it would be neat to see a revival (of some degree) with the pokemon dream world, or an alternative method to catching the hidden ability pokemon.

Please keep working on this project. I'd really just want my save file to be able to be connected to the dream world once. I don't really care about the website or the minigames in it. Just want the game to "psuedo-connect" to a dream world.
