Only thing I ever used the browser for was for hacking. I do wonder what kind of folk use the browser for stuff besides hacking, and in what regions it was more likely to occur.

I like the icons. minimalist and modern. I'm assuming there'll be more on the final release and the day-one OS update.

I used browser on mi DSi to do driving tests...
driving tests, in most europe countries to get your driving license you first have to do 2 exams. the first exam is the "theory test" usually consist of 50 multiple choice questions. there are plenty of websites and software to use at home that mimick this exam you must pass in order to be able to get into the second part of the driving school which is driving itself.
so, he used the dsi browser to train for his exam

i hope my explanation was ok

Theory: the Browser will be a separate app (not applet) downloadable from the eShop, so it can use all the system resources, and be patched easily, not just with system updates.
#hax confirmed#

come on.... so, the home menu was revealed-ish and all the people discuss is about the browser because people assume and join it togueter with "hax"
yeah... i will agree that the system will be a flop\fail..
gbatemp is giving me the impression no one cares about the switch, about the device, functions etc..
they just wanna know if you can hack it to play free games so they may purchase it for that.
i get it, prices are crazy, but by the looks on it, maybe nintendo should concideer to do a security hole in purpose so people find it and rush buying the console to hack it, this will guarantee sales.

would be a bit weird to not include a browser since all of the consoles are doing that pretty much.

reading this makes me feel like I'm the only one who used the Wii U browser for actually browsing. it's actually pretty good, and being able to play a video in the background is nice. the system is in my room so I'm able to use it in bed.
