Bethesda's Prey reboot recieved another trailer today, showcasing new footage and also revealing the game's release date. Prey is set to launch on May 5, 2017 for PS4, XBO, and PC.

An alien-infested space station. Badass weapons and powers. And… Yu. Fight your way through the deadly Typhon aliens as Morgan Yu while unraveling the mysteries behind the infestation – and your own identity – in this sci-fi thriller from Arkane Studios. Do you not know what a reboot is? It's taking an old idea and refreshing/reimagining it with new ideas/scenarios while sticking to the same general theme.

Y'know what the old Prey was about? Some native american dude getting abducted and fighting through aliens on a space ship with some creepy "Indian Spirit powers" and oh sometimes portals. Y'know what this reboot is about? Some asian dude fighting through aliens on...GASP...a space ship with some creepy...GASP..."Alien powers". So they got rid of the "abduction" thing and the portal thing (as far anyone knows, anyways) and of course they couldn't keep the Native American stuff in this age where SJWs bitch and moan about everything PC, but whatever, it's still the same basic premise.

And that sucks because my fiance is Native and yet she and her dad had no issue with the whole setup and idea of Prey - in fact, they thought it was pretty cool.
