I have a hypothesis that,if correct,it could rocket anyone who is interested into fame.And,without bots/fake notes!
All we're gonna need is a few people with a lot of side blogs.This will not hurt anyone,and this is not illegal.
Also,it will only work if there's a lot of accounts
Rules:
1)Put ur url in your sig
2)Use this method for everyone in here. (if there's too many people,then try to just do 3-4 notes per post,and only a few posts,like 3 or 4.)
3)Do your part.Otherwise,this system will not work!
4)Try your content isnt mostly nsfw.
5)Have at least 2 side blogs.You dont have to confirm the email to reblog stuff.

How it works:
Tumblr is not that dumb anymore.If tumblr detects that all the notes are coming from a single blog,you wont appear in most popular.This is why,for this method,we're gonna need people.If at least 10 people with at least 2 side blogs each help each other out,then it will work!
How to do it:
1)Create a side blog.Or create a lot if you have spare time.
2)Follow your main blog,follow every single blog that's commented down below (unless its a porn blog)and follow a bunch of people that might share these interests.To get more people to follow,try following a certain search,like pokemon or overwatch.
3)Now that you've followed a lot of blogs (200+) some of them might follow you back.This rarely happens after the 4chan attack.Mostly new blogs/more underrated blogs will follow you back,as an act of gratitude,so try to aim your follows at these types of blogs.
4)Start reblogging the most recent posts of all the blogs that have been put here.Reblog 5-8 times per post and then move onto the next account.
5)Once you've inundated your dash with reblogs,the underrated blogs that followed you as an act of gratitude will probably unfollow you,or even block you.This is bad,as people outside the method wont see the content.Reblog their stuff too.This could backfire,as it might annoy them,so tell them that you'll stop reblogging their stuff if they unfollow you.If they still block you,then its a lost fight,so forget about it and follow more blogs.
6)Repeat the method with all the blogs a few times a day.
Stuff that makes the method more effective.
a) Now,say that blog A is a pokemon blog (a large community),and that blog B is an acnl blog (a small community)
Popular posts in the pokemon community have more than 300 notes,while the popular posts in acnl community have less than 400.
So obviously,you should put more notes into the posts with large communities.
b)Give priority to tumblr's that belong to people in the temp and not the people that you fished with follows (but reblog them too.)
c)Use a custom avatar photo so it looks more authentic.And make sure it isn't the same one that your main blog uses.
d)Dont reveal the plan to other people.People on tumblr tend to be really whiny,so even the smallest proof could make the plan obsolete.
e)Send asks to yourself/other blogs (but notify them first).Make some nice,and make some rude ones so that people think you're famous.
f)after a while,stop reblogging from the fished blogs.Especially if more and more temp posts are getting into most popular.
g)If your side blog gets a reputation,rename it or delete it and make it again.The notes will still be there.
Avoid:
1)Fishy names.Try to be original with them.Adding a lot of numbers will give the appearance of a bot (or a homestuck if you change letters for numbers,e.g: 1NV3ST1G4T1ON, 8itch,2ee i told ywo he2 weird.)
2)Being rude.Remember,tumblr is extremely whiny,and reputations grow quickly...
3)Reblogging NSFW stuff.Keep it PG13 or you could end up classified as a porn blog.
I'll put some more stuff as i discover more ways for the plan to be effective,or stuff that will make the plan less effective.
