I would recommend to find the FBA romset and play wjammers from that. Neo Geo emulation will be much better that way anyway.
Ok thanks. Why is that ? FBA is better than Mame for Neogeo, in what sense ?
Too bad it does not recognize bluetooth controllers yet then :(

I just went the "Fuck it" route and opened up an issue in GitHub regarding my problems with the newest nightly:
https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/issues/4451

The issues being that the button layout per-core is not being saved on restart, and that the file browser does not start on the specified directory given in Settings -> Directories.
See my answer in the github. Did you try to change your bindings in the real (not quick) menu ?

I think you must have only the fat32 drive plugged in to work and you also need cfw launched

I tried it but this way my haxchii channel isnt loaded, because it's installed on WiiU hd.
Should i move it to internal memory? Can i do it an easy way without brick chance

You move haxchi to system memory by just copying from usb to system memory. You won't brick. (you might need to run installer again)

One of the reason I don't test all the features on RA is that many of them are not implemented and would result in a freeze, I'm afraid of touching things that I'm not familiar with lol

I guess this happend to other users and maybe is the reason why favorites section wasn't discovered until later.

Worked perfectly moving haxchii game to internal memory and using the fat32 hd.

Now, how can i use neogeo UNIBIOS in fba? I have to use an particular name? I enabled it in settings but cant get it to work

I just noticed that the latest nightlies still say 1.3.6 in the meta.xml.
Heck even the stable 1.4.0 releases still say 1.3.6
Maybe they forgot? A simple 1.4.0b would have been enough.

Has anyone used the FUSE emulator? I ask this because I compiled a build of it with all the new features, since the one on the appstore is from back in December, but I tested the game R-Type, which is the best rated game for the system, and it opens up to a picture of the main screen, but I can't figure out how to start it. I noticed that if you press the MINUS button on the gamepad, it opens a virtual keyboard, but I can't figure out what you do to start the game. I just want to make sure that what I compiled is ok to release. Is it like the Odyssey 2 emulator which needed keyboard support, so only games like Frogger worked on that? I need to know if I should upload this to the appstore or not.

I installed the old version of FUSE from the appstore onto my SD card, to see if it acted the same as the one I compiled with the new changes, and it won't even let me open it, it says to choose which core, but none are listed. LOL

I guess I'll upload this new version to the appstore later, and if any people complain that it doesn't work as good as the old one, I'll replace it with the old one again.

why not try a game like jetpack that had joystick controls on the spectrum. I have yet to get fuse to load anything and would love to play jetpack again it was the very first computer game I ever played.

oh please upload the atari jaguar one i want to test it xD, any chance with the HATARI core or 3DO or even dosbox working now?
OK I'll upload it but it really is slow as hell :)

Yes tapper does not seem to work I have tried a number of versions of the game every one loads the title screen then the wiiu crashed and I need to hard reset. Shame that one of my all time favourite arcade games does not work.
Tapper works on the mame 2000 core I'll post that in a bit too :)

Any new version of fuse you upload is better than the one currently on the appstore, the older version never worked.

Ok, I uploaded the new version to the appstore, it's here or get it through HBAS - http://wiiubru.com/appstore/#/app/fuse_libretro

I will try jetpack later, but if anyone wants to download this version and see if it works before I do, go for it.

Your new version with jetpack just loads to a white screen I also tried manic miner and that gave me a DSI error. Edit tried a good few more spectrum games all go to a white screen just like the original version of fuse.

Then why did R-Type not go to a white screen? Mine went to some loading screen.

are you using a tap or dsk version or tzx version of R-Type? I have now tried about 20 games all tap zero work.

I'm using a z80 version of the game. I am able to start R-Type and Zaxxon both with no crashing. The only crashing comes if you start a second ROM, like we had before. I don't know why that problem is present in FUSE, but not the others. I noticed there are a lot of options though once you start a ROM up. If you go to options in the quick menu, you can change the type of Sinclair it is, like Sinclair 48k, Sinclair 128k, etc. Also, if you go into controls, there are settings for different types of joysticks. I tried a bunch of configs though, but I can't get any game to start, and when opening the keyboard overlay with the MINUS key, it doesn't register the key press or something. Maybe someone else can play around and get something to work, but the only crashes I had, was when I started a ROM a second time.
