What error do you have? Black screen, freeze, code dump, nothing happens? Happen something similar to me with Tyrquake, appears a message no files to load and stay that way, no freezing or other problem that force me to power off.

I opened an issue in the github, hopefuly we got an answer soon :3
stuff like columns 1 and colums 3 and Pier Solar and a lot more on the megadrive side on the quake emu nothing loads snes out of the 1000 odd roms I have about 10 don't work now yet if I revert back to 1.3 everything works fine in all emus. all the ROMs that are not working for me in 1.4 just return to the menu I have deleted previous cfg files with no luck.

@brienj, @ploggy,
Can you tell me exactly which cores you guys have compiled which are not in the buildbots?
Also, if you can could you post the makefiles for each one of those cores in here for research, please?
I've only got Stella working so far, and the repo is on GitHub. I've been working on getting the Atari 800 one working, but running in to some problems. I've got it producing an .atari800.cfg file, but even putting the locations of the BIOS files doesn't seem to help it locate them. I am pretty sure that's the error I'm having though, because after trying to load an Atari 5200 rom, it just shows a black screen and hangs there. It doesn't crash though.

Have you deleted the retroarch.cfg file (and other CFG files) inside SD:/retroarch/?

I have Columns 1 and Columns 3, I'll try those and see what happens. I don't have Pier Solar, is it non-USA, or non-World? Because I only have America, Hacks, and World ROMs on my SD card. I do have the rest of them on my PC though.

No idea lol I got my megadrive stuff from that EMUlated site that is in PARADISE lol But Pier Solar was only made a few years ago and I can't remember if I got that from the paradise site.

But why is it that the Stella build is not being put into the buildbot?
Same for the other cores you guys have compiled.
I am trying to see what is it that the GitHub repo is missing to add proper support to the cores you have built alongside ploggy so far in the official Retroarch repo.

Both Columns 1 and Columns 3 work for me, but I also use the HBL channel, not the HBL on the SD card, not sure if that makes a difference, but the channel should work the same as 1.4 AFAIK. PM me if you want me to give you the ROMs I have, maybe yours are broke.

I've mentioned to aliaspider that the Stella one should be added, but I don't know if he has control over that, or who to actually ask to include them.

Update the Wii U Homebrew Store with all of the new builds please
They are, at least the ones made by the buildbot, and Stella, which I compiled.

@brienj very strange as I just tested them again and they are working in 1.3 but when I tried 1.4 it did not work as always. I don't get why that would be lol but yes if I could have them that would be great thanks

Do you have them zipped? If you do, load them with the core, I know on older ones, you couldn't load them with the core, but now you do in the newer builds.

I had problems with saving settings with these new builds after wiping out the retroarch directory ahead of using them. Re-creating the retroarch directory manually (leaving it empty) fixed the saving issue.

No they were unzipped let me try them zipped
Try deleting the files associated with those ROMs in the sd:/retroarch/cores/savefiles and sd:/retroarch/cores/savestates folder too. Those may be causing problems too. Mine are unzipped as well, but I just said that in case you did have them zipped. But I have no problems with any ROMs in the Sega emulator.

Is there actually an Atari 7800 libretro core that works? I've been trying to get the Atari 800 libretro core to work on Wii U, but it only supports Atari 5200, along with the Atari 800 computers.

Edit: Nevermind, I didn't realize the ProSystem emulator was available. Must have missed it.
