Just to let you guys know, mocha is NOT needed anymore.
All system menu hacks come with a haxchi install or coldboor haxchi install.
In fact having mocha along side haxci is redundant as the hacks are loaded twice without a reason so booting takes longer.

So we need to update our Haxchi installations then? I haven't updated it in a while. I'd rather not use coldboot as it is a bit more risky.

Yep, works fine.
To answer your home button problems, it's strange, I really don't have it. Maybe that's because you're on Mocha ? When I go into settings / input / player 1 bindings and set it to Wii U Pro, automatically everything works fine, even the home button.

I don't use Mocha, in fact, I never have *shrug*

Ugh, I hope not, I don't using the game pad to be honest.

Have you tested Snes9x mainline yet (not 2010 but the other version)?
Yep, works fine.

Edit : also yes I have one of the latest Haxchi (not coldboot, I don't see the point of coldboot since I boot my Wii U by clicking the Haxchi icon on my quickstart menu from the gamepad), that might be a difference as well. No problem with loading times anymore btw.

Not yet. Will test next. Also pc engine is working great too. No dsi crash on more than 1 rom loading
So far only Lynx has problems right? Also thanks for reporting :3

It's Hotkeys that doesn't allow HOME/POWER buttons, not per player bindings.

Haxchi v2.5 or up has the option to apply signature patches by holding B button during HBL/Haxchi channel boot up, so it's redundant have Mocha to make the signature patching task. Just making clear a bit since there's some confusion about what every thing does lol. And yeah don't use coldboot, it's not worth IMO.

I assume it's super easy to update Haxchi now? The latest version I see on GitHub is 2.5u2, I just update it lickety split?

Yeah but I didn't have to go through hotkeys to associate Wii U Pro home button with loading Retroarch menu. I just toggled Wii U Gamepad to Wii U Pro in PLayer 1 bindings and everything worked great. Expected SNES controls + home button mapped to Retroarch menu.

Rednand is not needed anymore also or is the hb booter channel.
Haxchi is all in one.
I use an old version of Haxchi, the one that will just boot an elf/rpx off the SD card, and I specifically have my reasons for doing so. So you can say Mocha isn't needed any more, but in my case, it is.

I have the Wii U ProCon as main controller P1, will check it out per player options.

Why is that though? Haxchi loading HBL 1.4 loads any and all RPX app files.

@aliaspider you can also scratch
"loading content multiple times in a single session can cause a crash with some cores." now :) It seems to be pretty much solved except for Lynx. Thanks for your awesome work !

great that the latest nightly has fixed loading more than 1 rom at a time but why do roms that worked great in 1.3 not work on 1.4 the megadrive roms that I want to play 2 player no longer work. and a lot of other roms in every emu no longer work.

I press Haxchi and load Mocha when I want it, or else I don't. If I have Mocha loaded, I will use the HBL channel that is installed.

Fair enough, just curious mostly.

Edit: @ShadowOne333 try to bind the home button to Wii U pro now, seems to work perfectly :P

What doesn't work? Maybe I haven't tried enough ROMs, but I haven't had any problems with any ROM not working.

What error do you have? Black screen, freeze, code dump, nothing happens? Happen something similar to me with Tyrquake, appears a message no files to load and stay that way, no freezing or other problem that force me to power off.

I opened an issue in the github, hopefuly we got an answer soon :3

@brienj, @ploggy,
Can you tell me exactly which cores you guys have compiled which are not in the buildbots?
Also, if you can could you post the makefiles for each one of those cores in here for research, please?
