If you also want GBA, GPSP KAI 3..4 is suppsoed to be good as well, so is worth trying.

SNES - Snes9xTYLmecm 0.4.2 Mod R27
I thought the SNES9X Euphoria was better, i wouldn't know since i haven't tried any snes emulators in long tiime. Last i did it was almost perfect with a few decent trick but not 100% accurate like on other stuff like android or Wii.

I personally use tempgba, it's apparently got higher compatibility and is also signed on the filetrip download. Also, what 'tricks' did you use to get Snes9x Euphoria to work better? Would be nice to share :)
Unless of course you don't remember.

The problem with signed homebrew is while it may work on any psp without CFW, it also requires more storage on the system. I noticed signed homebrew has bigger data than unsigned homebrew. Since any psp can run CFW, signed homebrew is just for someone who either isn't too motivitated to get CFW on the system.

I will have to check my psp memory stick to see if i still have the setup, though i didn't try all games, just a few mega man games and some fighting games. So performance may vary.

Chain question, what's the best build of the n64 emulator right now? I know it gets kinda bad performance, but apparantly at one point it could get full speed mario 64 and i'd like to try that out.

DaedalusX64 R1909 is the current build, and is probably the best.

Thanks, I'll test it with some other games if you like.

Here is the only version i can find of the Snes9x Euphoria. SNES9X EUPHORIA R5 BETA 3 Click here
And the latest version of that snes9x tyl snes9xTYL mecm 0.4.2 Mod R28 Click here

Euphoria is suppoed to be a continuation of the TYL since it did lack updates at one point, but the TYL mod has a more recent update than Euphoria. I still dunno which is better, both have the issue of framerate performance even with the highest clock rate 333MHZ and the screen tearing seem impossible to get rid of. Also it has some audio problems, and the use of some small tweaks in speed hack setting alters graphics. I honestly dunno which is better but you can try them both for yourself. I think it slightly better if not using 1000 model psp, but any other should help a bit with the extra ram inisde the later rmodels. :)

You might want to open a thread, asking for a comparison of the two for others to test and give their opinion on what they feel is best one. I thought about it but i figure you should since I hardly use my psp for snes games. :P

Most SNES games that people want to play have GBA ports anyways, and isnt GPSP KAI really good?

Yes it is a fact, but not many people want to, there many people who are hardcore who complain about it being not as good, even though is better. But is a matter of preference, games like Donkey Kong country, super mario all stars games (SMB2 SMB3 SMW) Yoshi island, and what not... I do play the GBA games as they have features that SNES doesn't. But is not for me to decide what people should play, just to supply information to help them make decision. I had planned to play Final Fantasy 6 on GBA which i never played that game before but will try first time on GBA. (easier to get my hands on than PC/Phone port) As do other games i play on the GBA that was SNES.

GPSP KAI seem to be okay for games far better than snes but again, is preference. :P
