Planning to go down to GameStop tonight and preorder one. The first half of the conference was very cringy (1 2 switch made me think red dead was coming, and that translator was awful), but it picked up once they started announcing mario, Zelda, Xenoblade, and some other stuff. Also I personally feel like they are saving some stuff (I.E. Pokemon stars) for e3.

Pretty much sums up my feelings.

I think Forbes is missing one of the better points which they show right in the image which is portable multiplayer action. The 3DS is a single person experience. One kid is playing and the other is watching.

Two controllers means two people can play at the same time. That is very novel for a portable system.
