To convert to NTR or do you own a GW? *MOST* codes really aren't very hard to find on your own. Very easy when dealing with known values. (have 10 units of money? search a 16 or 32 bit number for 10, get more money and search again for your new amount, rinse and repeat until you have only 1 hit left... and sometimes 2 or 3 hits)

i have gateway so there's that. i've tried searching for my own codes but the only one i've managed to came up with was max scores which will give you S Rank everytime. but i can't find any codes on infinite power bar or no cooldown nor infinite health. i think i found the address for it but no matter i change the value it always revert back to original values. so that's why i asked does anyone else have any codes for this game? azure gunvolt 2?

I haven't played that game, so not me. I'm still occupied with MHG. For power, begin an unsigned search, use some and search for less than, use more and search for less than again, gain more power and search for greater than, etc, etc... each search will get progressively faster.

Hi all! Just thought I'd throw in a useful 2 cents for MHgen. I'm not one to find pointers and too lazy to see if anything is static, but if you're trying to speed up a quest that requires you to kill xx number of insects or something stupid like that, you need to search for the REMAINING number. For example, if you need to kill 50 vespoids, search forr an 8 bit value of 50 to start. Kill 1, then search for 49. You'll find a single address after just a couple of tries. Set that address to 1 manually (no need to make a code unless you find that the location is static) then the next one you kill will complete the quest ;)

This works great for getting Alola form Pokémon but needing to switch encounter types to make it work again makes it hard to catch legal Pokémon. Could you explain how this code works a little and maybe someone can figure out if there's a way to keep it running or refresh?

"needing to switch encounter types to make it work again"?

Yes, switching encounter types. Going from grass, to shadow, to tree encounter as you suggested. Also, I didn't mean legit Pokémon, I meant legal. Using the spawner in areas that Pokémon normally appears in to make it easier to catch without it failing legality checks.

Would you mind explaining a little bit about how the code works? Does the addresses changes with each subsequent encounter?

there is no need to switch encounter types, after you have fought all the pokemons (tree, shadow) in that area, exit that screen and go back again to make them reappear
if you only want to get the pokemon in that normally appears in that area, don't edit the pokemon id or only use the IDs that appear in that area
the code only works in those kind of encounters regardless where you are

Okay, I think there's a miscommunication. Ignore the part about legal Pokémon, it seems to be derailing the conversation. I can make the spawner work in a regular grassy area on any route, anywhere, but only when it's the first encounter, after the first it stops working until encountering one of the other types of fights or a soft-reset. What is it about the code that makes it work this way? I'm hoping to expand my knowledge and actually learn about these codes and not just blindly use them, if you're willing to explain it a little.

it is suppose to be work like the ORAS code, where it only works on Scan battles
I never found it working on random (non tree, ground, trial) encounter battles, not not sure how you got that

Nothing special, just booted the game up, enabled the code and then walked in some grass. When I use NTRDebugger to read address 0x341C87B8 during each battle it sometimes updates and sometimes does not. I'm assuming there must be a trigger somewhere that's used during these special encounter battles that has the game read from that memory location. Looks like I'm hunting for that trigger. That way every battle is considered a ground, shadow, tree battle and always loads from that location.

well, hope your theory is correct and good luck on finding that trigger
I've already removed the game to make room for others

I'm looking forward to the day when I can hack cheat codes using an NTR-based code search app. It would essentially retire Gateway as a defunct flashcart.
NTR is dead. You've already got Gateshark2NTR among many other great things that devalue cheats on Gateway already. Do you really need anything else?

I'd believe the answer to be no, lest you be a code maker yourself.
