Did you put it in your files9 folder? If so, maybe it's corrupted. You can still do a 9.2 CTR transfer (I assume you are trying to restore your system from 2.1?)

yes i am restoring from 2.1 and is there any files that i don't need because i don't have any more space on my SD Card

i now have 3 a9lh installed consoles, should i let them system update to 11.2 ASAP ? Once upgraded there is no way back except restoring nand backup using d9?

go for it, as long as you have luma installed all will be fine

Settings->Software->3DS software. Games that are greyed out won't show up on the home menu and you should probably delete them.

The thing is that they don't even show up in the settings but I know the files are on my sd card. I had a problem where I dragged the files onto the SD card instead of copy pasting but now I can't do that because I don't have enough space. If there's nothing I can do that's fine.

Yes, if you want to play anything released in 2015 or later you will need to update. If you followed the guide though you should have updated already.

Have a look in your Nintendo 3DS folder and see if there is more than folder with a long string of letters and numbers for the name. Try removing each one and see what the effect is on your home menu. If everything disappears that's the one you want to keep. If not you can leave it deleted.

If that doesn't work I am out of ideas

Suggestion:

1. see " A browser based exploit is not working

Browser based exploits (such as browserhax or 2xrsa) are often unstable and crash frequently, but they can sometimes be fixed by doing the following steps

Open the browser, then open the browser settings
Scroll to the bottom and Initialize Savedata (it also may be called Clear All Save Data)
Try the exploit again "

Just avoid update n3ds from 2.1, can brick.

i have an NDS Flashcard in my New 3DS XL, and sometimes it disappears on the cart icon, it does work once i remove and reinsert it, idk if it's the problem with the cart or something else.

How safe (or reliable) is to update to 11.2 and use the soundhax/fasthax/safehax combo to get into cfw?

From skimming plailect's bible downgrading is not necessary as just having fasthax+safehax gets you the necessary permissions for the CTR transfer. But how many tries can it take to get into decrypt9?

I ask this because a friend of mine got a 1.1.0-0u 3ds and the cartridges i have all contain lower versions (kh3d has 3.0, ResidentEvil:Rev has a lower firm as well) i updated to 3.0 via kh3d but im still too low for mset and no browser.

The other option i have is borrowing a friend's Pokemon Y that has 6.1 on it and update through that. But then i need a flashcart for mset (the only one i have that *barely* works on that fw is my old DsTwo, my other flashcart is a Dsi R4i gold clone that doesn't work on a 3ds without cfw).

I had a 11.2.0-35U N 3DS XL and tried to follow the guide 2 days ago when i learned 11.2 was now supported.
Everything worked on the first try by following the guide carefully.
I only had the bottom screen glitch on the website part but the guide has troubleshooting so it told me to just keep going as if screen was normal and it didn't cause any problem.
I now have a CFW a9lh n 3DS XL on latest firmware and didn't lose anything at all in the process.

I've done the guide before. I've just never had to downgrade from any version post 9.2. Before the bible guide went live a friend of mine used memchunkhax2 to get my 9.4 second 3ds back into 9.2. That was even before the compiled versions of k9lh/a9lh were widely used as well.

Guys i need your help. I was going through the process fine until i got to installing arm9loaderhax. I got the glitched error screen, instead i foolishly clicked select TWICE. which cause the 3ds to shut down. It wont boot now, the bluelight comes on then it turns off. So i booted it with the SD card in it and foolishly again saved the settings to autoboot sysnand and now when the SD card is in it just stays black with blue led on bottom. Auto turn off without SD. what do i do?

Please tell me i just didnt brick my 3ds for clicking select twice.... T_T
