A general rundown:
Run beta.henkaku.xyz in the web browser until it works
Install molecular shell with the tool (I think it does it for you. No download necessary)
Install a vitashell vpk with molecular shell (downloaded from the internet)
Install the email exploit with vitashell (downloaded from the internet) (optional)
Profit

Also, for PSP cfw, you need a PSP game. If you don't already have one, find a thread here. Since FW spoofing was fixed, I think the only way to do it now is with a PS3, though I'm 99% sure I'm wrong on that.

Here, give this a shot.

1). It's just called the PS Vita (or just Vita), not the PSP Vita. You're sort of saying "The DS 3DS" which is a bit confusing.

2). There's no true, permanent CFW for the Vita. We have Henkaku, which is like a temporary CFW that must be installed on every reboot and is only available for Firmware 3.60. If your Vita has a firmware above 3.60, there's nothing you can do. If it's below, use this to update to 3.60: http://wololo.net/2016/12/03/henkaku-update-server-easy-way-update-ps-vita-fw-3-60/ Henkaku allows Vita backups, homebrew, and allows the installation of a PSP CFW but ONLY if your Vita is activated (see 5).

3). To install Henkaku, go to henkaku.xyz on your Vita's browser and wait for it to install. If you get an error, just retry. That's all you have to do. Once that's done, you'll have a new app called Molecular Shell on your Vita. That's basically a file browser which also acts as an installer for VPKs (which are basically Vita apps/games).

4). Follow the guides in this thread for more information http://gbatemp.net/threads/guide-th...-guide-check-here-first.403035/#HENkaku_Setup

5). If you want PSP backup loading, you'll need to install Adrenaline. Adrenaline requires an activated Vita (which is basically a Vita that's been registered to your PSN account. PSN spoofing broke weeks ago, so any Vita newly setup since then will not be activated) with a PSP game installed. If you're not activated and don't have a PSP game, you need to use a PS3 to download one and transfer it via the Content Manager Assistant (which you can find in that guide I linked above.)

Without sound, and ARK is limited to 32mb of RAM (technically 28mb, but whatevs) whereas Adrenaline will be upgraded to 64MB and will feature complete PS1 support. Not to mention no XMB, and no additional filter support.

It will run from cold boot though, and IIRC ARK can play a few games that Adrenaline glitches out on.

He plans to, that's what's supposed to be in his "February" update, along with 64MB RAM support, save states, and ur0 support.
Fantastic, look forward to that. Will finally update to 3.60 (I'd rather play PS1 games than Vita games if I have to choose. But if I can have both...)
