Homebrew N3DS Emulators question

I put retro archs latest nightly build on my new 3ds xl. I tried to use snes9x 2010 but it doesn't run very well. So then tried 2005 plus which works except I can't play Mario games? Does anyone know the best emulators for the n3ds?

The best way to play SNES games on N3ds is to inject on VC, as they run natively, just look for the cias.

I was hoping I could just run the emulator through cia, then use my full rom set, plus then I could use cheats as well, with save states.
