I could really use some help with this...

I was trying to create EmuNAND and ran into a bunch of problems, eventually had to restore my SysNAND. When I did that, I noticed that I had an emunand somehow. I booted into Gateway Mode by pressing down on system boot, system firmware had "gw3D" in front of system firmware string. Thing is, that emunand has none of the stuff my sysnand has. Do I really need EmuNAND? If I remove it, how do I go about doing it? Also, will I still have access to the following in just SysNAND:

- Luma/Luma Settings
- A9LH
- Gateway use
- Use SC DSTwo

I have heard that I don't need an EmuNAND and that there is a guide on here about how to remove it, but I cant seem to find that guide. Also, I have a few questions about EmuNAND removal:

- Will I lose A9LH?
- Will I be able to use Gateway in SysNAND?

Thoughts and help GREATLY needed and appreicated :)

Hi, so my N3DS AC:HHD bundle arrived, it's on Ver. 9.9.26E (I think that's how you put it) I've modded 6 of my own consoles, should I do a system format before following the guide? I know you had to do that at least once in the older methods. Is this better option? I'm not too familiar with the current guide just making sure I don't cuck up. Thanks!

You can get rid of emuNAND by formatting the SD card using something like SDFormatter. No, you don't need emuNAND; however, as I said previously do NOT update sysNAND in Gateway mode. Gateway doesn't provide FIRM protection, so you will lose A9LH if you update using it! You will still have access to everything in sysNAND after removing your emuNAND. Just be sure to backup the contents of your SD before formatting it.

You no longer need to format/use TinyFormat while completing the steps on the guide. Everything that is necessary to do is covered in the current version of the guide.

Yeah, just delete them all, and you can get them back from the theme shop.

Check out 3dsthem.es for free themes.
Yeah I've been checking but my 3ds just doesn't want to put the themes. I've tried everything it gives the the default no theme after installing with chmm2

Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

before you set a new theme using chmm2 for the first time, you must set another theme first officially. for example red theme. then reboot, then set theme using chmm2, reboot. your theme should be there

I am having trouble injecting FBI on my Japanese n3ds, I only get the option to inject the hs.app and not any of the FBI.app available. 15909236_1126706324114462_1910845969_o.jpg fbi.png

did you try the arrow keys?
yes, i have previously downgraded my Canadian n3ds not too long ago using the same method

EDIT: It appears that i was trying to inject while still on 2.1.0, i am now restoring the 11.2 nand backup

I was gone for a week and now I see this .. A9LH on 11.2 systems without buying anything? Just a week ago people, me included, were complaining about the fact that fasthax required a specific game from a set of four to work. Now, you require no games, making A9LH accessible to everyone .. Just .. how?!

33C3 happened, and new stuff was released. It also motivated other people to look into existing, but unused, exploits.

posted this in another section too but haven't gotten any replies, so.... i'm in desperate need of some major troubleshooting rn. so today i was trying to get citra set up and i pulled my microsd and put it in my computer to paste some files to it. it wouldn't let me, so i pulled it out to check that it wasn't in locked mode, it's not, but won't let me cut from or paste to it, so i had no other choice besides formatting it. so, i made a backup on my desktop of the entire contents of the 3ds sd card, and then i formatted the card using quick format in sdformatter to fat32, since it says it can retrieve data afterwards. i don't think it actually can retrieve data, unless it's some hidden away option. anyway after that, i copied everything to the newly formatted microsd. once completed, i ejected it and put it back into my 3ds. now, it doesn't boot, it just gives me the blue blinking light where the power light is normally a solid constant blue. i don't know what to do - i've removed the files i added, it's got the exact same contents as it did prior to quick formatting it. i don't want to fully format it unless that is the solution, as it will take another hour or two after the format to get all of the files back onto the sd card. does anyone know what i can do? the sd card does have an arm9loadhax.bin in it. please help!!!!! thanks!!!!

Just make sure that arm9loaderhax.bin is on the root of your sd card.

i appreciate the quick response, but i've been told this three times now and arm9loaderhax.bin has been in the root of the sd card the entire time - i copied everything, and pasted everything back in after the format, nothing changed locations/names/etc.. i've also redownloaded the luma files and replaced everything from the sd card with the newly redownloaded files.
