Could very well be false positives, plus, I've never even heard of these antivirus programs that are throwing positives.
Could be, but OP needs to at least provide source code now for peace of mind.
OP reported. <-- edit: I didn't actually do this. Tattle tales suck ;p

Idk if reporting the thread with only 5 antiviruses out of 56 reporting a positive was really necessary, its MOST LIKELY a false positive. If it were in fact a positive I would expect to see 15+ trusted/known antiviruses flagging the program, while 5 is relatively small for the amount of antiviruses scanning the file. For anyone reading this, wondering if they should download it or not, I say go for it, but at your own risk, until the author decides to provide the source or not, I guess you can never be to careful.

Can't wait to play this on my NES Mini

Edit: Virus? What the hell? Glad I haven't downloaded it yet. Probably a false positive though, but it's better to be safe now than sorry later.

Windows defender is going nuts on me now, keeps reporting a trojan every minute or so.

I highly, HIGHLY doubt that. Mind showing pictures?

EDIT: I also have Win Defender running, hasn't said anything yet, so I'm genuinely curious if its a positive or not.

Well scratch that. I downloaded it and Windows Defender says it's fine.

Edit: So how do I power up the NES Mini? I have connected it with my notebook via the USB cable, but it won't turn on. It's a USB3 port, so it should provide enough power.

plug in the usb, hold select, press the power button. the led will not switch on, but windows should detect it. then install the driver.
if it doesnt, try a different usb cable.

This worked nicely at first try.

Became a member to give you some feedback: Game names go nuts when trying to add Mega Man 1-6. MM4 and MM5 are shown as MEGA MAN without the number.

Also Nintendo has a TM trademark in "MEGA MANtm 2" so it will not be sorted properly.

Ok, so can this also remove games? I hope so. There are games that aren't desirable such as Tecmo Bowl.

You only need the USB cable to connect it to your computer.

You can add and remove the games you load to it. The original 30 can only be removed as a batch.. all or nothing. Download the program and give it a go. It's really self explanatory.

Sorry, GAMEXYZ (censored)uses mapper#69 it is not supported.

Also googleing for boxart doesn´t show any results...

Are you using an executable packer like upx? Because apparently some antivirus programs don't like that. Though if it is detecting it as malware because it is a kernel patcher there isn't much that can be done about it, in fact the FF2 translation patcher (FF2PATCH.EXE) has been detected as a virus for pretty much forever.

Also, are there any plans to add savegame (both sram and save state) backup and restore support?
