Just copy your microSD contents from one to another.

I tried to copy the Homebrew and Luma titles (I assume those are the 0d921e00 and 001dea00 folders) to the 00040000 folder of the 3ds SD card and they didn't show up for some reason, but the games did. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong

Are you sure they're on the files9 folder?

Yup, they're in there. I did a hs dump and that guy shows up (just hs.app) but not the files from the zip.

Move the entire microSD to the new one.

4gb would be large enough. Depends on what else you have on there. But large file wise you should just download 9.2 CTR [~1GB] - boot hourglass9 and flash it. So even 2 would suffice [just tell hourglass9 not to make a backup]

I think it was due to the software I had already had installed on the SD card from like games and such. But I got a 16GB one so that way I wouldn't have to worry about storage space for quite some time. I was finally able to get to 9.2.0-20U. But what does one do now? I am trying to put NTR onto the device in the long run. Am I to follow the last few steps of Section 3 as well as Section 4 in the ctrtransfer tutorial and then go back to the OP's tutorial or elsewise? Thanks for the help as well! I really am grateful that this forum is so helpful and not totally jerks to everyone who asks questions (especially like me who probably has just been asking ones that have already been resolved).

Yes it does. But I suggest following 3ds.guide and coming back here if you have any questions. Because they're basically the same, but 3ds.guide is a little more straightforward.

Don't know about 11.1 compatibility. Better to update to 11.2 and start it. As for the model and region, any will work.
