Hardware Will This Micro sd card work?

Today i was planning on upgrading the standard 4gb micro SD card from the regular new 3ds to something with much more storage, but then i remembered that i have this card (shown bellow) that i never used which i thought it might work instead of buying a new one right now. If anyone knows if it will work, Could you also tell me what format i should use for it.

format it to fat32 and it should work fine

to answer the question it will work just fine, my 2 cents, but is not really recommended, slow class 4 sd cards will make N3ds slow as well. also small in capability means not too mush can fit in there.

buy a 32 or 64gb class 10 card. they do not cost a lot anymore.

It will but if you want my opinion you should get at least a 16 or 32GB class 10 microSD card, that is if you plan on installing CFW and playing backups.
They're not expensive
