Yo!

So because of the recent DMCA stuff the Nintendo logo used in Homebrew before has been replaced with the Homebrew one, which is simply a black background with 2 non-matching fonts at top and bottom saying "Homebrew"

I know that the logo.bcma.lz file holds the information and can be changed. Therefore I'd like to know if it would be possible to redesign that area with an actually good looking image on top and bottom screen instead of using this "very simple" logo we have right now.
We could implement said logo into buildtools then and use it as standard.

If anyone knows how to unpack the lz. and edit image data in or sth. in order to replace the logo, please tell me. I am kind of a person that likes to have everything on a system look elegant and polished. :)

Thanks!

EDIT: Of course ppl can suggest or create some kind of logo fitting for homebrew if changing the logo in this way is possible :P

ctr-logobuilder is one of the most difficult yellows8 tools to use and that's really saying something.

@The Real Jdbye is the only user I've known here who's cracked the app. Maybe he'll have some spare time to help you but I doubt it.

Yeah, I just got the link for that tool from a friend and damn the usage instructions already say you need like 4 different tools to create a logo file aswell
'<_' Why is changing a boot logo so difficult compared to a banner

You pretty much need Linux to get ctr-logobuilder working. I gave up on getting it to work on windows but it worked right away on Linux once I found the key. I only modified an existing logo though, never looked into making an entirely custom one. I'll see if I can help out within the next few days. Kind of busy today :)
