Its not possible to "Stream" it to the 3DS, It is possible the other way around, To stream the 3DS to PC doe.Why isn't this a thing yet ?
the 3ds would act as a wii u gamepad , i am aware that there is a already a 3dscontroller app
but it doesn't have a streaming feature
What? Why wouldn't it be possible? Its not possible to "Stream" it to the 3DS, It is possible the other way around, To stream the 3DS to PC doe.
The hardware just isnt there, Not even on the n3DS.What? Why wouldn't it be possible?
The hardware is definitely there. Only real problem is screen resolution. The hardware just isnt there, Not even on the n3DS.
Sorry man but its not lmao, Theres barely enough hardware to have Boot NTR running lmaoThe hardware is definitely there. Only real problem is screen resolution.
I think you're thinking of controlling a 3DS using a PC. OP wants to use his 3DS like a VNC client for his computer, which was possible on the original DS and should be a much smoother experience on the 3DS.Sorry man but its not lmao, Theres barely enough hardware to have Boot NTR running lmao
No, Im not. Just its not possible man, The CPU and such would be sub-par (Barely get around to working), The GPU would be fine, And the Ram would be utter shit.I think you're thinking of controlling a 3DS using a PC. If 3DS to PC streaming works this well, there's no reason PC to 3DS streaming wouldn't work even better. Decoding is easier than encoding, not to mention that with 3DS to PC streaming the 3DS is also running a game at the same time, which isn't necessary when doing PC to 3DS streaming. No, Im not. In that case, you are terribly misinformed. What makes you think the 3DS doesn't have enough RAM and CPU?No, Im not. Just its not possible man, The CPU and such would be sub-par (Barely get around to working), The GPU would be fine, And the Ram would be utter shit.
Lmao it doesnt, just having Boot NTR running almost takes up half of it. (In extended ram mode, It even needs extra ram to run)In that case, you are terribly misinformed. What makes you think the 3DS doesn't have enough RAM and CPU?
Yes but not "Streaming" it to 3DS.wasn't there already an app for PC to 3DS?
What does "Boot NTR" have to do with streaming PC to 3DS? If the 3DS supposedly can't handle it, how come the original DS could?Lmao it doesnt, just having Boot NTR running almost takes up half of it. (In extended ram mode, It even needs extra ram to run)
Because Boot NTR has a lot of powerful features that are used for this type of thing, What? You expect to magically load a PC screen on base Luma CFW?What does "Boot NTR" have to do with streaming PC to 3DS? If the 3DS supposedly can't handle it, how come the original DS could?
Yes. None of the features that Boot NTR offers are all that relevant to streaming video to the 3DS.Because Boot NTR has a lot of powerful features that are used for this type of thing, What? You expect to magically load a PC screen on base Luma CFW?
What? PCs being more powerful would somehow make this *MORE* difficult? I wonder how you're gonna attempt to explain this one...Also the original DS could because it was run different and back then PC's werent as powerful, Also just look at the screen lmao pixelly asf
It hasn't been done because it takes effort, and there's not much of a point because a smartphone can do it better and everyone has one.If it was possible it WOULD have been done by now.
I get all your points, But its just not an easy task, And at this point not possible in the current framework we have (Which IS BootNTR)Yes. None of the features that Boot NTR offers are all that relevant to streaming video to the 3DS.

NTRViewer is nothing like PC to 3DS, It would be streamed albeit similar, But not like it.The person that was developing 3DScontroller had plans to implement such thing (streaming a pc's screen to the 3ds). I am sure it is possible given what we can do with NTRviewer, but it won't be as smooth as what we currently have with the current wireless streaming from 3ds to PC. Resolution is definitely a key factor for why we prolly haven't seen this happen yet.
And rendering say... a 1080p screen down to a sub-120p screen, while (i guess) would be possible, the real question is why? That'd look horrible.
We have the tech already to control the mouse to any point on at best a 1080p monitor via 3dscontroller (albeit, it's not 100% accurate cause your stretching the 3ds' digitiziter capabilities, where only a physical upgrade to the digitizer is the only way i see it getting more accurate. i'd love to make/swap this into my 3ds cause OSU! lol)
You don't need a framework or anything fancy to stream video to the 3DS. It can be done with the regular homebrew toolchain.I get all your points, But its just not an easy task, And at this point not possible in the current framework we have (Which IS BootNTR)
