So my Wii U has been having all kinds of errors lately, and I believe it's due to a corrupt NAND. None of this will be related to hacking, because it was happening before I started using anything.
The issues I was getting at the beginning were corrupted game save files. Whenever I would load a game with a corrupted save file, it would immediately crash the Wii U with one of the official Black screen error messages. Deleting these save files and restarting my games worked fine.
Next, I noticed that I could no longer load the Mii Maker app without the same crashes and error messages.
Downloading DLC for Mario Kart 8 (purchased) had the same problem, but it was able to work on a second attempt.
Finally, now that I'm attempting to backu up my NAND for RedNAND, when I boot the CFW Booter it just goes to a blank screen. The same goes for all other apps that seem to attempt to access the NAND.
I was however, able to get an otp.bin and a seeprom.bin file from the respective dumpers, but I don't know if they are complete since they are only 1kb each and the apps seemed to just end up on a blank screen upon loading with not visual output.
Has anyone heard of this issue before? What's the best thing for me to do at this point?
