Homebrew Help with dsiware downgrade

So I have a 2ds as the source system, and a new 3ds as the target system. I'm at the system transfer step and I am trying to do a pc based transfer, but whenever the process gets to transferring built in applications the new 3ds gives me an error and it cancels the transfer. Anybody else run in to the same issue? any help is appreciated.

I've never done the PC Transfer method, but just curious to know..
why not just do it over wireless?

Really? About 15-25 mins for me...

I mean, if you can't wait that long then I guess lol, it's not that bad.

well my sd card has about 3 and a half gigs

That would explain why then.
When I DsiWare Downgrade a 3DS, my "source" 3DS is formatted with nothing but FBI and the exploited game itself.

Honestly, I would just format the whole system and start fresh if I were you.
Make backups of important saves you need (or anything else really) and just have FBI and the exploitable Dsiware game prepped for transfer.

What about it? Formatting your 3DS won't get rid of it if that's what you're wondering.
