I recently got Luma3DS + AL9H

is there a way to get more space, I only have several games and the 32GB is almost out of space, 25GB being games

A) Is there a way to compress this?
B) Am I doing something wrong storage wise?
C) Can I use multiple sd cards?
D) How do I use Lumas3DS with Gateway, can someone give me a guide?

Thanks, I know thats a lot of question but i'd be really grateful if I get answers :D

A) I'm not aware of any.
B) Nope, that sounds about right.
C) You can use multiple sd cards, but there is a little bit of work.
D) Not in my wheelhouse, sorry.

Swapping sd cards sounds like a real hassle. If you're going to use two, I suggest getting a 64GB SD card for about 15-20 pounds and formatting FAT32. If you're really strapped for cash, you can take the games installed to your SD card and back them up. You can move them back onto the SD card when you want to play them...but that's just a lot of hassle.

I don't understand why you can't afford a bigger SD card. Even a 128 GB is only around 35 bucks. I have a 32GB too and i barely touched half the game on my SD.

Are you using Emunand?

Are you using Emunand?

Yes, you totally can.

Incoming ragewar about gateway + Luma + A9LH. brace yourself.

I have emuNAND but i'm not using it atm

1) No
2) No, unless you have an emuNAND. Want more space? Delete games you don't play, clean up your SD card, and/or remove your emuNAND.
4) https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-using-luma3ds-with-gateway-on-v2-a9lh.431691/

Ill try and clean up my SD card a bit

the 3DS supports SD of any size, but you need to have them on FAT32. If you use the format comes with window, you will not see the option FAT32 for any SD card bigger than 32GB. Just google "SD FAT32 formatter" and download one.

The 3ds no matter if old/new can take up any mSD/SD as long as it's formatted in FAT32. That means you could use 64/128GB with no problems (other than the home menu taking longer to boot the bigger the sd you use)

Congratulations on your breakthrough!?

Don't forget your emuNAND takes up nearly 2GB of your SD card.

I see thanks guys, I'll do that once I run out of space here

Also, on https://www.titledb.com/ there are loads of good homebrew apps

I like FTP File Transfer, freeshop and FBI a lot so far;

Whats everyone elses favourites atm and how can I install my own cartridge games onto my N3DS, any ideas?

Congratulations on your breakthrough!?
