How can I update Super Mario Maker? it has a new update and I did the cfw was to download it but now when I go to eshop it says I need to pay can anyone help me?

Grab nnu patcher.. run it from the homebrew launcher and then run the game. should allow it to update
Good question, I also saw a new update 1.45
I tried NEW-NUSGrabberGUI, but the last update there is 208 = (1.44)
I updated the game before to 1.44 by just replacing the folders ( I know
)
for some reason all the saves were gone after that. I still use Loadiine so it shouldn't
happen since saves are even in a separate folder.

Use FunKiiU or USB Helper or something. I know FunKiiU downloads the latest update (1.45).
How can I actually tell what version I have downloaded of an update if the folder isn't named with the version #?
Is there an app that can read the tik or tmd and cross reference it or something?
Maybe, possibly. I'm sorry I don't know for sure. I know that if you use uTikDownloadHelper or Wii U USB helper (probably other programs too) it will automatically names the folder with the version number. Although it won't be the version number that appears within the title. Rather it will be the version numbering that Nintendo uses to simply identify what number update it is (i.e. v224 instead of 1.45).

I still don't understand why the saves were gone from previous update though. For me looks like they were deleted when the game first booted saying the game was updated but I am not sure.

I have uTikDownloadHelper and I cant find out how to update the file when i load it up it just shows super mario maker but idk if its the old version or not
Yeah... the interface needs work...
If you go to download the game it will ask you what type of content you want (game, dlc, update)
Just choose update and it will download the newest one available from NUS
It didn't tell me that is there a different version of utik or a updated version?
I forgot which version I added it in but just download the newest version and you'll get that option
If you download multiple titles it asks before starting and if you select just one it will have checkboxes on the progress window

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
