Speaking of Ps1 and dynarec's, I found this last night.
https://code.google.com/archive/p/ps3sx/source/default/source
I dont know if it helps but they said it has a working pcc dynarec.
Hope this helps out.
I didn't even know both PS3 and 360 shared the PPC architecture at all.
Shows how much I give a shit about them haha.
But yeah, here's hoping that such finding has functionality for the Wii U.
Here's a few extra core's I managed to compile the other day while messing around :) Some work fine.. Some not so much ;)

Working:
Snes9x2005 (Some graphic bugs)
Game And Watch (Hasn't been in the Buildbot for a while) :)
blueMSX (No Quick Save/Load)
Stella (Atari2600 YAY!, No Quick Save/Load)
VBA Next (Works fine as far as I can tell) :)
Vectrex (Works fine as far as I can tell) :)

Not Working:
Handy (LYNX, Wont load a game) :(

http://www68.zippyshare.com/v/TiZjeMzx/file.html

Note: I cant code a sausage, all I managed to do was figure out how to compile what was already there. This is as far as my skill goes ;)

Have fun.
FINALLY!
ATARI 2600 IN 1080P, MY DREAM COME TRUE!

Oh and to anyone who tests these cores, please give some feedback.
Also, ploggy, my offer to help out with the pull request to make these cores available in the buildbot is still open. :P

Yes Ps3 and 360 and Wii are all PPC (so 3 options of dynarec for WiiU)
Would love to see PS1 on WiiU more so than N64 and even DC (and I loves me some DC) ;)
Thanks for the offer but I still think it would be easier to do it there side :) although I could upload the other libretro_wiiu.a files if that would help. :)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Not gonna lie. I found this hysterical xD
Dont forget 60fps....Probably.

Maybe tagging @aliaspider, @LibretroRetroArc or @FIX94 could help, so that they are aware of the new functional cores.

wait... cant the psp run yoshi's at 60fps?
No, and looks like it successor can't either.

Meanwhile, SNES9X 1.53 WiiU version ran it fullspeed :rofl2:

Seriously, for all the shit talking some people made about the WiiU, this is (sadly) funny.

For all its worth, the Wii U is very good at running emulators, as they require a lot more CPU power than people assume. Snes9x 1.53 runs buttery smooth for every single game compatible, something the Wii couldn't do easily without compromises.

CPS1
CPS2
CPS3
MAME
GBA
Genesis
Snes
NES
GBC
PCE/TG-16
TG-CD
Etc

Yeah, it's amazing :P

This might be somewhat out of place, but could anyone tell me how to access Libretro.com from the Wii U's browser?
I keep getting Error 112-1035 when trying to enter, it has been like this since a few days back. Did they change security or something?

Did you try it with HTTPS? https://www.libretro.com/

Yes, I keep getting the same error.
I had the same issue with the PK Hack forum some months ago:
https://forum.starmen.net/forum/Fan...ut-I-can-access-just-fine-on-my-laptop/page/1

They explain there that I couldn't enter the site anymore due to the SSL Certificate they recently used for the site, but I'm unsure if LibRetro has done the same, and if so, how would I go about entering the site again from the Wii U.

I don't know then, sorry -_-

Edit: Also, deleted all RA config files, tried Snes9x 1.53 and DSI, so yeah, I don't know which latest builds of Snes9x truly work or not :(

Good to see Retroarch becoming available on the wiiu. Hoping someone can help with getting mame2003midway working for me, any rom just black screens and freezes the console, I've got the right rom versions but the nightlies from the site aren't working for me. If anyone has managed to get it going which roms and retroarch version are you using?

Use the 1.4 version of the Homebrew Loader and load the .rpx cores with it. Just an advice. I can't help you though

Also, last nightly's FBA core returs a black screen+hard lock. Haven't tested any other core yet (Maybe i should)

Any chance you take a shoot at hatari core and dosbox?, both of this system were on the wii so they must have some wii documentation to compile by?

i also wouldnt mind if you tryed https://github.com/libretro/prosystem-libretro xD

Oh so maybe it wasn't just me then. I tried Snes9x from yesterday and the core loaded fine, but the console locked up.

Snes9x2010 runs fine though, as does almost any other core from the last nightly (haven't tested PCEfast nor Wonderswan) aside of FBA2012

There's no way to load SF3 Third Strike via Mame 2003, isn it?
