Alright guys, so i tried to downgrade my little brothers 3ds XL to install AL9H, and for some reason the screen always turns black after the gateway dragon logo, i have AL9H+Luma and my Emunand is 11.2 on my O3DS, everything works flawless, what the hell went on here ? can anyone help it would be very much appreciated. i cant even get to the gateway menu, i used to be able to. here's a clip of it booting up

the emunand isnt loading probably because its corrupted in some way. a format in the gateway menu before boot should hopefully fix it.

alright im formatting the emuand rn, will post back with results

*Edit*

it stays stuck on this screen now even when i press A 1000 times

i then turned the console off, rebooted with a fresh launcher and i still cant boot into GW mode or classic mode

Maybe restore a NAND backup from before you started this (hold up on the Downgrade option in the Gateway menu). Then delete launcher.dat from the SD card and start from the beginning here 3ds.guide/get-started

Gatentr allows all gateway cheats to be ported to ntr cfw, and using tikshop allows free games to be downloaded right from ninty's servers
its easier and in some cases safer to use roms kinda like how noone was banned with sun and moon who used a rom and ntr cheats isnt nearly as good as gateways.

Actually gateway cheats can be ported to ntr, and it's way easier to just have an the games on 1 sd card in the 3ds.

you have to first create the cheats then compile them into a plugin. its far easier to just copy and paste. and at least u dont get an inf boot if u go from one game to another with gateway. i also prefer the 2 sd cards so i dont have to turn off my 3ds when adding or editing cheat codes

To be fair he has an o3DS. emuNAND is gonna be underneath 1gb. Also, he can cheat on extended memory games, and he doesn't have to set up a devkitpro environment and waste extra time to convert cheats into a plugin, sometimes they might not even work.

But enough of that. Op, does emuNAND work in Luma? You could try taking out your GW cart (maybe blow on it) and putting it back in.
