No. I'm sure anyone that would need it knows how to find it.
definately, but a lot of people in the modding community rely on premade tools, these are people that have the brain to contribute coding wise (ie emulators given they may understand to a degree how the games they mod work) but probably cant cause they dont have access to the nitty gritty.

The main problem facing the N64, and other emulators is the lack of a dynarec (dynamic recompiler) to speed things up. It will take quite some time to get it running.

what people arent getting is I understand that, im just trying to contribute the best i can in that proccess as i have been working with the real hardware and emulation in general for a while.

PSX and PrBoom are working for me.
For PSX you have to wait a REALLY long time for it to boot.
It loads really slowly, but it does.
And for Prboom I'm not sure, be sure you clean the CFG files and that the WAD you have is good.

I have used PSX in the past without problems. It black screens right after loading the emulator, not the game. Maybe it is only this build. I always start with a clean folder, just to be sure.

About PrBoom, strangely enough, i am using the same Wads that work on Wii, but they do not load here.

Are you using the RPX or ELF of PSX? As far as I know, only the RPX builds work properly for now, I could be wrong, but I've tried ELFs of them and all fail, but RPX builds work every time. Is @niuus using the ELF or RPX version? 12-2-16 builds should have the RPX core for PSX by now, if for some reason it's not there, I can provide a link.

As stated in the post, ELF.

Can't use RPX since i am not using Haxchi and HBL 2.1.

Again, o my knowledge only the RPX build of PSX works at the time of writing. Is there a particular reason you're not using HBL 1.4 or 2.1? 1.4 loads it just fine, maybe try loadiine.ovh? Haxchi is very very low risk, and I believe there's an easier way to install Haxchi without a DS game, Dimok released something recently to make that part easier. AFAIK, version 2.1 has little benefit over 1.4, as both load RPX.

Kexploit works fine with RPX.

I am not using Haxchi because i do not have any VC DS game installed. I do not know about other ways to install HBL 2.1 for the moment.
hombrew launcher 1.4 launches rpx executables. all you need to do is use the newer web exploit
And i have tried to run RPX with 1.4 since support was announced, but they just crash the console. Yes, i am using the updated exploit too.

That's..very weird it should work, but again, I believe there's a method to install Haxchi using a tool Dimok released, a simple signature patcher http://gbatemp.net/threads/simple-signature-check-patcher.451138/ this should allow HBL to be "installed" ala Haxchi style without having to own a DS game.

Yep, same version.

12-02 is out, BTW.

I'll give it a check.

Yeah, at least, that's what is implied in the OP of the post, that installing the HBL forwarder should be feasible, you might want to ask him for sure to be certain. If I'm wrong, I do apologize. Let me know if you need more help/info.

I think I figured out the reason why I was having issues with certain ROMs while others didn't.
Turns out that it's caused due to both the Rewind and Fast Forward options.
FF wasn't too much of a trouble, all I got sometimes was a freeze in-game.

However, it seems like rewind does screw up ROM compatibility greatly.
Upon enabling it while having a GBC ROM opened, I got an instant DSI exception after toggling it to enabled in the menu.

Just to further cement my theory, I opened up a fresh session of the core, toggled Rewind to enabled, and tried to load the previous GBC ROM...
DSI Exception.

So it seems that Rewind is screwing things up for certain cores, hope this helps others.

Can confirm your theory. GBA games, for example, insta-crash for me after Fast Forward. Last time i tried was with the 11-18 build, stopped doing it after that. Some cores are unaffected, though.

Intetesting finding indeed, I also had the same issues with GBA games.
Good to know it is reproduceable and hope this helps the devs to debug it.

Interesting, I'll be on the lookout and be sure these aren't enabled, thank you both for the heads up.
