Hacking Help switching SD AND CFW

Greetings! I'm a new user here, although I've been lurking for a long time. I've been following the whole Lurantis's Cia craze and I am one of those unfortunate fellows that have been banned. Seeing how these bans seem to be permanent, I've been looking for a way to unban myself and saw there IS a way, but considering I have a MenuHax + Luma setup, I decided to hold off for a bit. Running Decrypt9 to try and inject the file without solid proof that I can do it scares me, and I'm not in a position to go get a new 3DS right now


Now that I bought a new SD Card, I'm willing to try and get an Arm9Loader + Luma setup. I barely care about my old data: only thing I backupped would be my Moon save which I plan on importing once the whole thing is done.

Considering this: following this guide (https://plailect.github.io/Guide/) should I just put in the new clean SD and treat it as a fresh install, or should I take special precautions?

My main concern is being able to run Decrypt9 with the less risks possible, and once done then benefit of all the positive traits arm9loader has over Menuhax.

Its best to do it with a new sd card. You don't need to do anything special to install. Just follow the guide normally and you shouldn't run into any problems.

Yes. The homemenu will create new data for it. Also menuhax won't boot as it was installed on the other sd card.

Really sorry to be a bother: I've understood that with the arm9loaderhax I don't really have a SysNand + EmuNand situation, but sort of a patched SysNand. How do system update work then? Would it be safe to update or do I have follow some particular procedure?

I just really want to be sure about what I'm doing and not mess up anything. I've been reading a lot and the more I read the more I get confused.
