So, I'm following the Plailect guide to hack a n3DS on 11.0 via the DSi method using my o3DS that already has luma on it (installed using the same guide). I basically immediately hit a wall when Zelda 4 Swords (which I happened to already have installed) didn't load the public.sav the guide provides. So, I thought maybe I'll try Legends of Exidia, so I bought and downloaded it, but unlike Zelda, which just plays like normal with or without the public.sav provided, LoE just goes to an "error has occured, shutdown system" screen. It goes to this screen whether I change the public.sav or not. The guide just says if the game continues normally, go back and figure out what went wrong, but there's really nothing to go back to since this is pretty much the first step. I also thought maybe the DSi game needs to be on sysNAND, but I can't figure out a way to put it there, since the eShop won't work and even injecting FBI or hbLoader into H&S won't work (it just crashes when launched). So, I couldn't find anything in the Troubleshooting guide and my Google efforts have run dry. Is there anyone here who can help me?

My n3ds was hacked following plailects guide too and I just installed Fieldrunners off the eShop like normal which worked perfectly. Why can't you access the eShop? Are you banned?

You could write you emunand to your sysnand wit hourglass9 and keep a9lh on it. That would solve the issue of trying to get a dsiware to boot. I would imagine that would make the LoE downgrade work.

I can't access it on sysNAND, because it's on version 2.1.0-4u. I can access it on emuNAND, which is how I got Legends of Exidia.
DSiware have to be installed on both sysNAND and emuNAND to work. This is why it's recommended that you perform the dsiware downgrade from a 3DS with A9LH+updated sysNAND.

Why is your sysNAND still on 2.1.0?

Would that come with any risks? Does it get rid of sysNAND completely?

It was on 9.2, but the guide had me downgrade it when I installed luma.

Nope, no risk as hourglass9 is foolproof. what it does is take the emunand and write it to sysnand, but keeps a9lh installed. So no need for an emunand, you can have luma autoboot your sysnand and it will have everything you had on your emunand. No need to double install things like dsiware or gba cias.

That is usually the set up for people.

You will want to make a back up of your emunand and then go into the sysnand options of hourglass9 and select "Sysnand Restore (keep a9lh)". After that, reset the 3ds and hold select at boot and set luma to Autoboot sysnand. After that, you should be all good to get the downgrade working and doing your system transfer to your n3ds.

If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up via PM. :D

Oh, well that sounds way better. So, what, do I just use Hourglass9 to back up emunand then restore that back up to sysnand (keeping a9lh)?

EDIT: Beat me to the question, lol. Also, thanks!

Can I remove my NNID from my N3DS by only formatting? I'm planning to wait that 1 week and buy the Legend of Exodia game with a new NNID on my 2DS.

Yes, I am that guy about the aftermath failed System Transfer...

Sorry to hear about the failed transfer. -.- That sucks.

To answer the question, yes, the only way to remove your NNID from your n3ds is formatting.

yes... -.-
My N3DS will not inquire about "already having an NNID" after I format and transfer the new NNID in 1 week?
