Hey guys,

So I haven't really played on my old 3DS in a long time, and today I noticed that the circle pad is cracked right in the middle when I move it, which means it will come off if I start playing on that 3DS. The circle pad feels like it started to melt with the summer heat as it's sticky.

My question is, where would I be able to find a circle pad replacement in the EU? When I search on ebay all I can find are New 3DS circle pads which aren't compatible. I know ifixit has the tutorial, I'm just having a hard time finding a replacement circle pad, preferrably one that looks close to the original.

Thank you in advance

Wait, so the circle pad pro works on the old 3ds if I were to transfer it to mine?

Wait, are you talking about your actual circle pad? I thought you were talking about a circle pad pro. No idea why, lol. No, sorry. You actually need to replace your analog stick then? That sucks.

So you would need these?

Yeah, I only need the rubber circle pad, not the mechanical part, that one that you linked looks nice, but I'm always skeptical about the quality when the seller is from China, who knows, it might break in a few weeks/months of usage.

For the cheap price (and frankly how easy it is to replace the circle pad) you can buy a generic one and re-replace it with some other product if you need to.

From what I've seen, you need to take the 3DS completely apart to replace the circle pad, don't you?

You only need to access the motherboard. Other repairs are way more painful. If it was a screen replacement I would want OEM.

Nearly all tech you buy is made is China or some other developing country, why would one off eBay not be just as good as one you got on a 3DS? They both came from the same place xD
