Yes I have the latest fw.img and it won't install for me as well
Working perfectly for me on commit de84fd2 of @dimok's iosuhax.

Isn't dimoks fw for rednand I have fw sysnand by FIX94
Not anymore. Dimok recently added the feature to build a sysNAND fw.img rather than a redNAND fw.img.

Simply type "make cfw" instead of just "make" when compiling.

Big thanks to @Irastris for their help I have now got it installed.

I don't know, how can I tell? I didn't know there was a new one :O that file cant be shared here right? :'(
You can tell by going to dimok's repository and looking at when the latest commit was.

If you can't figure out how to compile it yourself, then you're just gonna have to wait for someone on that forum to do it for you.

if you compiled the fw.img yourself last week, when IOSUHack and redNAND was released, it's already old.
Dimok updated his github at the same time than he released this new homebrew launcher, and two others homebrew.

so if you didn't retrieved the latest dimok's repository and recompiled a fw.img yourself since that release, you are using an old one.

Dimok also added a way to compile the fw.img with or without the NAND redirection patches. so you can use his repository for both sysNAND and emuNAND with all its features (wup servers, iosu node, sign patch, etc.?)

just type the fw.img you want
make cfw (this one doesn't have NAND redirection)
make redNAND (this one have the same patches as the first one, but with NAND redirection too)

Thank you, is there a post or guide for how to compile this? and by the way, what is an ancast key xD

Maybe it's a little outdated now, I don't know if he added the latest dimok changes.
anyway, when you see "type make", instead type "make cfw" to make the sysNAND version.

Ancast is another encryption layer
they used 2 different keys to encrypt some files, and you need to decrypt them twice.
So you need the wiiU common key, and the ancast key.
But I think the new script is extracting the ancast key automatically !

what you can do, is dump your otp.bin and put it in a specific folder so the compilation will use the keys stored instead and you don't have to edit any python files manually.

edit:
yeah, Fix94 guide still doesn't have instruction for the new dimok's repository.
so get dimok repository, even if you want only sysNAND
and type "make cfw"

Thanks a lot!

EDIT: Once installed, what is the TITLE ID for the HomeBrew Channel?

Can anyone give me a link to the new NUS files for Homebrew Channel I cannot pack an NUS to save my life, sorry! If anyone can give me an easy method to pack files, please let me know. Can you use DiscU to pack from code/content/meta to NUS? I know you can do a .wud.

Alright the first bug in the channel version was found by some people. Thanks for reporting. The transition screen to system menu was hanging when homebrew launcher was only entered and exited without launching any homebrew.

I fixed it and here is RC2 of the channel:

The source code on the forks was until today almost identical for iosuhax. The only difference was that on FIX94's branch some part of iosuhax was just left out and not compiled in. This is now also possible on my fork with a special make target, "make cfw".

Thanks I have that one, its not changed then since the last RC2 build. I thought it had all been updated today for his new fw.img builds?

So right now what's better if we only want fw.img for sysnand with sig patches to get wupserver running also?
Fix94 or Dimok's iosuhax?
